ROSE VILLA - Key Persons

Angela Hansen - CFO

Job Titles:
  • Chief Financial Officer
As Chief Financial Officer, I oversee financial controls, investment decision-making, long-term planning, and risk management for our community. I have the privilege of working alongside our Executive Management team to provide the financial voice to operational and strategic decisions and communicating our financial information with internal and external stakeholders. Before joining Rose Villa in 2017, I spent 20 years in business management, operations, and finance in the manufacturing and construction industries. Community involvement has played a consistent role throughout my career, having served on several community-based non-profit boards. I have a lifelong passion for puzzles and stories, developing a knack for making sure things add up and are communicated in a meaningful way. I enjoy making the more obscure aspects of the finance world attainable by demystifying accounting reports, answering questions, and providing relevant data. My biggest wins happen when I see that people are grasping financial concepts and enjoying themselves at the same time. I am supported by a fun and dedicated accounting team. Whether it's our "Accounting Rhapsody" poster (paying tribute to Queen's Bohemian Rhapsody album cover), contest-winning group Halloween costumes, or infamous office pranks when someone goes on vacation, you can trust that the finance team is consistently working hard AND having fun. Working closely every day with the community of staff and residents at Rose Villa is challenging, fun, and rewarding- my personal career hat trick.

Marty Bracken

Job Titles:
  • Executive Chef
My love of food began at a young age. My mother's "specialty," dry unseasoned chicken, inspired my search for more flavor in my food. After receiving a Bachelor of Science in Hotel & Restaurant Management from Oregon State University, I sought opportunities to further my culinary expertise. My career took off as a Chef's apprentice at the Culinary Communion Cooking School in Seattle, and I went on to receive my culinary certificate at La Varenne, in Burgundy, France. I eventually ventured back to the West Coast to work as general manager of Bon Appétit Management Company in Seattle, and advanced to Director of Restaurant Operations. Throughout the years, I've cultivated a philosophy that food should always be delicious, and that it should look good, taste good and smell good. The time I spent as owner and chef of Bowedison Food Wine & Drink I achieved consistent 5-star reviews and cultivated relationships with farmers to offer locally sourced ingredients in my menu. My passion for flavor and attention to detail inspires the cuisine I get to share with the Rose Villa community.

Norine Mulry

Job Titles:
  • Director of Food and Beverage
Director of Food and Beverage NMulry@rosevilla.org I grew up in a family where food and sharing meals was an important part of our day-to-day ritual. I was very fortunate to grow up with my grandmother living in our home, and from her influence I inherited her love for cooking and nutrition. After attending the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and receiving my bachelor's degree in English literature, I decided to pursue my life-long love of cooking by attending Culinary School at the Art Institutes - Chicago. I received my associate degree in Culinary Arts in 2004. I began working in restaurants - both kitchen and serving positions - 12 years ago, and my love of food and service has only grown since then. It is my strong desire to bring the best customer service and dining experience to our guests - whether you be dining with us in Harvest Grill or Heirloom or hosting a party that requires our catering services. Our team is proud to bring you a fresh, from-scratch menu, integrating in product from our own on-site kitchen garden whenever possible. We strive to provide variety to suit your dietary preferences, and I am always happy to meet one on one with any resident, to discuss your specific needs.
