Prof. Dr. Filomina Parayil George, a distinguished fellow of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants, UK, and a distinguished Fellow Member of Zambian Institute of Certified Accountant, Zambia, is now the Director, SCMS COCHIN SCHOOL OF BUSINESS, India. She had acquitted herself creditably as the Chief of Finance Division of Zambian Railways prior to joining SCMS-COCHIN in 1996 and had, subsequently, served as Professor and Dean of Academic Administration in SCMS CSB. She was awarded PhD for her outstanding research in Financial Economics by Mahatma Gandhi. University. Her academic initiatives conjoined with her research potentials and organizational deftness culminated in the inception of Finance Forum of SCMS, which worked wonders as a powerful platform for intellectual interaction between industry and management students.

Ms. Mini K. Kuzhivelil, Associate Professor of Finance, is a post graduate in commerce and a fellow member of the Institute of Cost Accountants of India. She has five years of industry experience, having been working as Asst. Finance Manager in a large company in Coimbatore. She is attached to the Department of Finance. She is also the coordinator for our ISO quality system certification programme. She has participated in several management development programmes conducted by IIM, Ahmedabad and IIM Calcutta, apart from a three months stint in a financial consulting firm as consultant.

Dr. Pradeep P. Thevannoor, the late Vice Chairman of SCMS Group, was a great visionary and a source of inspiration for all of us at SCMS Group. He worked relentlessly to take SCMS to great heights in quality and excellence. A man of fertile imagination and untiring energy, he was in a hurry to accomplish his pet projects. SCMS School of Engineering & Technology was closest to his heart.
Dr. Subramanian Swamy, as the Chairman of Board of Governors - SCMS through his vast experience as Professor at Harvard University and IIT Delhi gives directions and guidance to the Administrative team during his visits to the institution. His academic contributions to the institution through lecture series every year is treasured by both the students and faculty community.
Dr.Swamy has a Masters degree in Statistics from the Indian Statistical Institute, Calcutta, and a Bachelor Honours degree in Mathematics from the University of Delhi. In 1964,he earned a doctorate in Economics from Harvard, after having worked with Nobel Laureate Simon Kuznets. He has jointly authored papers with another Nobel Laureate Paul A Samuelson on theory of index Numbers. Dr. Swamy taught Economics at Harvard over a number of years (1963-9,1971,1973,1985-6). From 1969-91,for twenty-two years, he was Professor of Economics at the Indian Institute of Technology, New Delhi, till he resigned the post in 1991,when he become India's Cabinet Minister for Commerce, Law & Justice. His high educational achievements distinguishes Dr.Swamy from other political leaders in India. Since 2001, Dr. Swamy has been teaching Economics every summer at Harvard University. Dr.Swamy is proficient in Tamil, Hindi, English and follows Chinese.
As commerce Minister (1990-1) he prepared the blueprints for economic reforms that were implemented by the Narasimha Rao government(1991-6). The current Prime Minister Dr. Manomohan Singh recently stated that Dr.Swamy was the first to envisage and articulate the need for reforms in India
The reorientation of India's foreign policy (1978-) towards China from hostility to normalized relations is widely ascribed in both countries to Dr.Swamy's untiring efforts in this direction.

Dr.Baiju Radhakrishnan, is a Group Director of the SCMS Group of Educational Institutionsand Professor of Strategic Management and International Business at SCMS Cochin School of Business. He has his B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Calicut, MBA from MS University, Ph.D in Management from the University of Petroleum and Energy Studies, PG Diploma in Innovation and Design Thinking from Emeritus Institute of Management (a consortium of MIT, Columbia Business School and Tuck Business School), in international business from IIM- Calcutta, in Strategic Planning from Edinburgh Business School, UK. And PG certification in Management Consultancy from CDC, New Delhi, and in Disruptive Strategy from Harvard Business School Online. He has over 30 years of corporate experience in varied domains, including international business development, strategic planning and corporate consultancy. Started professional career in tyre industry in 1990, he has held senior management/ CXO positions in corporate houses in India and abroad during 30 years of his career in international business, strategic planning and global logistics. He is a member of Institution of Engineers (India) and Academy of International Business (USA) and an affiliate professional member of Chartered Institute of Marketing (UK).
