RIVER RUN FARMS

River Run Farms is a small, family run kennel located in Southern Virginia, right near the North Carolina state line. We are dedicated supporters of gun dogs and the hunting sports, wildlife and the environment. We have concentrated our efforts on field-bred Labrador Retrievers for hunting, hunt tests, field trials, and companionship animals. We feel that the dog's attitude and temperament are also important to its hunting ability. A Labrador Retriever should be just as able to function as a family pet, as he should a working dog. He should be a pleasure to be around, with a pleasing disposition, a willingness to work and follow commands, and without any aggressive tendencies... We are proud of the Labrador Retriever bloodlines that we have here at River Run Farms, as our Labs are healthy, have a strong desire to work and retrieve, as well as a sound temperament and pleasing disposition.
