Our mission is to show respect and compassion for all wildlife through the rescue, rehabilitation and release of orphaned, injured, and displaced animals and to provide our community with wildlife education services and conservation information... Through this permitting process, we are able to provide treatment and care for injured, orphaned, diseased and displaced wild mammals and reptiles, as well as the subsequent release of healthy viable animals into appropriate habitats... Our agency has been providing service to the Roanoke Valley and Southwestern Virginia since 1988. We provide specialized caging and care for mammals that are classified as Rabies Vectors, i.e., raccoons, foxes, skunks, groundhogs, and bats. In addition, we provide care for all other wild mammals found in this area as well as turtles, snakes, frogs, etc.
