Sandy Creek Park is a 782-acre facility of the ACC Leisure Services Department provides year-round amenities including picnic shelters, large facility rentals, dog parks, disc golf, trail access, playgrounds and basketball courts... Our team of almost 200 dedicated water professionals produces and delivers high-quality water for the residents, businesses, and industries in Athens, GA. The water is then collected to be refreshed, reclaimed, and returned to the source. Our customers rely on PUD to provide an essential service funded by water/sewer rates and new development fees, not taxes. We are stewards of these funds and responsibly reinvest in our infrastructure... We understand that our actions reflect the values of our organization, and we hold ourselves accountable.
