Schuylerville Central School District is located in Saratoga County, situated in a scenic, close-knit community. The campus is 10 miles east of Saratoga Springs and 40 miles north of Albany. The district is made up of seven towns and covers an area of 100 square miles. Schuylerville Central School District has three schools-the elementary school (grades K-5), the middle school (grades 6-8), and the high school (grades 9-12.) The district also has a Universal Prekindergarten (UPK) program, provided by the Saratoga Regional YMCA and housed at Schuylerville Elementary School. The UPK program is fully funded, year-to-year, by a non-competitive, federal grant. UPK is an early learning program within the district designed to meet the social, emotional, and academic needs of four-year-old children, as well as provide an excellent foundation to their education prior to kindergarten.
