Dr. Sam Goldstein

Dr. Goldstein is an Assistant Clinical Instructor in the Department of Psychiatry at the University of Utah School of Medicine, with expertise in school psychology, child development, forensics and neuropsychology. He is Board certified Pediatric neuropsychologist, licensed as a psychologist and certified as a Developmental Disabilities evaluator in the State of Utah. He has also been nationally certified as a school psychologist by the National Association of School Psychologists. Dr. Goldstein is listed in the Council for the National Register of Health Service Providers in Psychology. He is the Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Attention Disorders and a former Contributing Editor to Attention Magazine. Dr. Goldstein has served as Clinical Director in a private practice setting since 1982 as part of a multidisciplinary team, providing evaluation, case management and treatment services for children and adults with histories of neurological disease and trauma, learning disabilities, adjustment difficulties, and Attention-Deficit Disorder. He has served as a member of the Children's Hospital Craniofacial Team. He has also been a member of the Developmental Disabilities Clinic in the Department of Psychiatry. Dr. Goldstein is a past Chairman of the National Professional Advisory Board for the parents' support group Children with Attention Deficit Disorder (CHADD), and has served as a member of the Professional Advisory Board for the Attention Deficit Disorder Association (ADDA). He has also served as a member of the Board of Directors for Rowland Hall St. Mark's School, Ronald MacDonald House, Guadalupe School, Rowland Hall School, Girls on the Run and the Children's Center. He currently sits on the Board of Directors for the Children's Service Society in Salt Lake City and New York Rep in New York City. He is the Chief Scientific Officer for Neurotech, and a consultant for Guinti Psychometrics. Dr. Goldstein provides in-depth neuropsychological evaluations throughout the lifespan, case management, clinical care, legal/forensic and insurance consultation.
