Fr. Jarrod Lies (pronounced "Lease") was ordained on May 26th, 2001 to the Diocese of Wichita, Kan. He holds undergraduate degrees in Philosophy and Theology from Conception Seminary College, a Masters in Sacred Scripture and a Master of Divinity Degree both from the Pontifical College Josephinum. Fr Jarrod is currently pursuing a License in Sacred Theology for the New Evangelization through Sacred Heart Seminary in Detroit, MI. As a diocesan priest Fr. Jarrod has served as associate pastor at Our Lady of Lourdes Parish, Pittsburg, Kan. for two years, high school chaplain at Bishop Carroll Catholic High School for 8 years, chaplain of the Extraordinary Form community for 5 years, pastor at St. John's, Clonmel, KS, for 7 years, and Diocesan Director of the Office of Faith Formation for 4 years. He is currently the Pastor of St. Francis of Assisi Parish, Wichita, Kan. He finds his greatest fulfillment in preaching and teaching the Eucharistic person of Jesus Christ so as to inspire and enliven in the fire of the Holy Spirit for the glory of God the Father unto the salvation of souls.
