Britney began teaching with the Southeast Tech Nursing Department in 2014. She is an alumna of the Southeast Tech LPN program and now holds a master's degree in Nursing. Britney is currently obtaining a Doctorate in Healthcare Education and Leadership (Ed.D.) through Clarkson College.
Britney has experience as a Registered Nurse in Critical Care, Women's Health/Postpartum and Pediatric Nursing. Her teaching philosophy encompasses "a measure of success in teaching is how effectively an instructor prepares the students for professional nursing practice." She enjoys incorporating her industry experience with hands-on learning in the lab and clinical settings. She states "witnessing each student progress from a novice nursing student to obtaining a professional career as a Licensed Practical Nurse is very rewarding."

Jason has been an Automotive Service Technology instructor since 2000. His teaching career began at Riverland Community college in Albert Lea, Minn., where he taught courses in brakes, suspension, engine repair, fuel systems, basic and advanced electronics, general automotive, manual transmissions, clutches, HVAC and drivability.
In 2013, Jason began teaching at Southeast Tech in Sioux Falls. Currently, he teaches Electrical/Electronics, Engine Performance, and Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning in the Automotive Technology program.
Jason began his career with a diploma in Auto Service Technology from North Dakota State College of Science. Later, he completed an associate of applied science at NDSCS. After graduation, Jason spent 10 years working in dealerships as an automotive technician, where he specialized in electronics and diagnostics. He is an ASE certified master technician and advanced drivability specialist. He is a member of the international automotive technician's network. Jason earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Adult Career Education from Indiana state University in 2019.
As an instructor, Jason has been highly involved at the institutions, taking part in committees ranging from budgeting, marketing, to student success. He has been involved with the institute's Higher Learning Commission (HLC) accreditation process at two colleges. Jason currently serves on the HLC learning team as well as several other committees at Southeast Tech. He is also an advisor the SkillsUSA student club and a board member of SkillsUSA SD state.

President of Southeast Tech, Robert Griggs is pleased to lead the overall vision and direction for the organization. He has served in progressively responsible roles in higher education for more than 20 years as a faculty member, department chair, dean, associate vice president, and academic vice president; most recently within the Minnesota State College and University System. He has been responsible for providing executive oversight and strategic guidance in the planning, development, and evaluation of all aspects of credit and non-credit academic programming.
As a first-generation college student he is passionate about student access, affordability, and transferability. In this regard, he has collaboratively assisted faculty to revise academic programs to improve the quality of offerings and to better align with business and industry needs; led college-wide master academic planning efforts; participated in a successful $35 million-dollar capital campaign; developed new academic pathways for students through the creation of "stackable credentials"; and created collaborative partnerships with school districts, non-profits, business/industry, tribal colleges and other higher education institutions in neighboring states and other countries including Canada, Malaysia, United Arab Emirates, Turkey, Russia and China.

Sarah Anderson is Southeast Tech's medical coding and billing instructor, and has been in the Health Information Management industry since graduating from Dakota State University in 1995. She began her career with Naeve Hospital in Albert Lea, Minn., as an Inpatient Coder. Prior to instructing at Southeast Tech, Sarah worked remotely in Sioux Falls for a range of companies, including: Park Nicolette, TRIA Orthopedic, NSN Revenue Resource, MMODAL, Surgical Management Professionals and Sioux Falls Specialty Hospital.
She is a member of the American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA), and holds an A.S. from Dakota State University, as well as credentials from AHIMA of RHIT (Registered Health Information Technology).
