ST STEPHEN LUTHERAN CHURCH

St. Stephen Lutheran Church is a member of the ELCA (Evangelical Lutheran Church of America), the East Central Synod of Wisconsin, and the River Valley Conference. Since the late 1800s, and since 1910 in its current location, St. Stephen has served as a place of worship, music, service, and education for members of the Wausau community and beyond. Our mission statement, "In the name of Christ, we care, we share, we celebrate" drives us daily to actively walk in our faith and engage in acts of ministry within our four walls and in our larger community. We are committed to helping people stay connected in the body of Christ through worship, education, and fellowship, and in giving back to our community whenever possible. We find ourselves in a particularly challenging time right now, but we are making every effort to stay as connected as possible with you in as many ways as we can.
