Solid Ground Studio is the design-build company of Artist-Blacksmith Kate Demske. Based in Cincinnati, Ohio we specialize in hand forged custom furniture, lighting, gates and sculpture... At Solid Ground Studio we love to find creative solutions to your design problems. We start with a conversation to get an overview of your project and your budget. Then we visit the site to take measurements and make notes about the installation requirements. Next it's off to the drawing board to sketch out a few design options. We take the design that you like best and tweak it to fit the space and your style. We will walk you through the materials, finishes and planned method of install. Once a design is finalized the fabrication fun begins! Steel is cut, heated, pounded and welded. Once the piece is mocked up we love to have you visit the studio to see your project in progress and make any final adjustments.
