Summit Public Schools provides pre-kindergarten programming at Jefferson and Wilson Primary Center. Students are randomly selected through a lottery system every year for our integrated pre-school program. Parents/Guardians submit their child's name in the lottery in December, and the lottery results are held in January. There is also a waiting list, in case of any circumstance where spaces open. Summit Public Schools provides program options for students classified as preschool disabled. Students may be placed in a pre-k disabled class, which can best address their learning and social-emotional needs, or in an integrated pre-school classroom, which is a general education program that includes non-disabled and classified students.
