SPRINGDALE LUTHERAN - Key Persons

Jim Ranney is our Vicar, serving as the spiritual leader of our parish while he completes the final steps toward ordination. He graduated from Wartburg Theological Seminary in May 2025 and is expected to be ordained soon. Jim has served our parish since January 2021 and previously led our Youth & Family Ministry. He holds a Master's Degree in Theology and Youth & Family Ministry from Wartburg and has dedicated his career to ministry and faith formation. A lifelong local, Jim grew up on a farm near Blue Mounds and attended Barneveld High School. He and his wife are raising two sons, and together they enjoy camping, music, and sports.
