Our church community is inclusive and welcoming to all. We invite you to experience with us the love and caring of the community that is St. Barnabas'... Ubi caritas... In Latin, caritas denotes not only love, but also dearness or affection. In the Christian tradition, caritas or charity is often used to mean love of God and of humankind. Echoing St. Paul, Thomas Aquinas called caritas "the most excellent of the virtues." Following the ancient tradition, St. Barnabas' Caritas Team was formed to do neighborly acts of love within our parish. The team's ministries include taking Communion to someone's home, providing meals, delivering altar flowers, and providing rides to church or to a doctor's appointment for parishioners needing assistance... We offer Christian faith formation (Christian Education) for all through the program year (September-June). Young children learn through parables and sacred stories in Godly Play.
