THE FOREST SCHOOL

The Forest School is a comprehensive secondary school in Horsham, West Sussex, England. It educates students between the ages of 11 and 16... When I first joined in Year 7, I never imagined that I would be the main role in a school production, so I was thrilled to be given the part of Billy in ‘Billy Elliot.' It made me more confident and I made a lot of friends. The Art Department is my favourite part of the school because I have always enjoyed the subject and being creative... When I first arrived at Forest, I was one of only 26 girls, but I still felt like part of the Forest Family. Mr Straw and the teachers make everyone feel included, and I enjoy welcoming primary school pupils to tours and events, as well as visiting them at their schools. I often participate in Student Panels and I like the fact my opinions are taken into account.
