Channing Hall

Channing Hall is located downstairs and can accommodate 100 people. The room has full-size windows (curtains can be drawn for privacy) to provide natural light. French doors open to our patio area. The patio area is fully fenced with a locking gate. The floor in Channing Hall is perfect for dancing and there is plenty of room for a live band. A fully equipped kitchen (2 stoves with double ovens, coffee maker, two sinks) is available for cooking or serving. A detachable rolling "bar" can be used to serve beverages or desserts. Rental of this room includes use of tables and chairs for your event.

Rev. Joseph

Rev. Joseph is our called Minister at UUYO. As Minister, he has built on our church's legacy of community engagement and social justice in Youngstown, Ohio, through service as Chaplain for the Youngstown Police Department and Clergy Caucus Chair for ACTION, a grassroots community organizing collective that demands social justice for residents of the inner city. Rev. Joseph was appointed as Adjunct Professor of the Philosophy and Religion Department at YSU. This Fall, he is teaching Intro to World Religions. Rev. Joseph has a Masters of Divinity from Union Theological Seminary in New York, where he served as a chaplain at Rikers Island Jail and held a prestigious preaching fellowship at the First Unitarian Church of Cleveland in Shaker Heights.
