The third part of our mission statement represents our commitment to the 2 nd and 6 th principles for justice, equity, and compassion in human relations, with a goal of world community with peace, liberty, and justice for all. As well as by living the 7 th principle with respect for the interdependent web of all existence of which we are a part. It is these principles that speak to many in our membership who want to make a difference in the world - whether that is working to promote awareness about issues like single plastic use & climate change, or working to reduce social inequities through marching & letter writing, or even working to support marginalized communities by offering the gifts of time, money, & resources to amplify those voices in our area...
