Elana Roussouw joined the team in February 2003 performing all the financial and administrative functions. She is currently furthering her tertiary education with a Financial Management course from Northlink College. Her hard work and determination resulted in a promotion in 2006 to Financial Manager, from which she now executes all financial activities.

Godfrey Mbingo is a non-executive director of Gist and the Managing Director of Vodacom Lesotho. His vast experience includes working for leading global brands such as Edcon (Marketing Executive), Smartphone (Board Member), Vodacom SA (Executive Head for Brand Marketing), Coca-Cola (Senior Brand Manager) and Kellogg (Senior Brand Manager). Godfrey holds a BComm from Uniswa and an MBA from Thames Valley University.
Jaco is a founding shareholder of Gist and heads up the organisation as the managing director. Jaco's hands-on approach and technological expertise has been a key strength of our business over the past 6 years. Before heading up Gist!, he was area manager for Bonchem Cape (Pty) Ltd and lecturer at the University of the Free State. He has been active in the IT industry since 1993 and holds a B. Sc. (hons.) from the University of the Free State.

Melissa joined Gist in 2007 to personally assist our Managing Director (Jaco) and perform general office administrative duties. She adds her experience of working for various enterprises both locally and abroad. She is the first friendly face that you see when you visit our office and the person to contact if you cannot get hold of Jaco.
Gist's technical team consists of 5 fully trained and experienced technicians. The team is lead by Dirk van Zyl, Marius Muller and Rudolf Muller: each specialising in either restaurants, schools or other small to medium size enterprises. Daniel Novello is our newest team member. We realize that small to medium sized enterprises (SMEs) require quality, prompt and reliable service held together with an honest, human approach. We believe that no question is a ‘Stupid Question!'

Willem Malherbe is a founding shareholder of Gist and non-executive chairman of the board of directors. He is based in Maastricht in the Netherlands where he works in Vodafone Netherlands' Strategy team. Prior to joining Vodafone he held various management and executive positions in Vodacom South Africa in Johannesburg and PricewaterhouseCoopers in Cape Town. Willem holds a B.Compt (hons) from the University of the Free State, is currently completing an MBA from Henley Management College (UK) and is a Chartered Accountant (SA).
