She lives in Racine with her husband, Bryan, and spends most of her free time with the members of Job's Daughters, a service and leadership group for girls.

In 2023, she accepted the role of Special Projects Manager and serves as United Way's grant partnership manager with external partners and supports special projects as assigned. In her free time, Katie loves spending time with her husband, three kids and her four-legged pets.

Leigh Ann Martinez

Onboarded in 2020, Leigh Ann started with United Way as the Julian Thomas community school coordinator before becoming community school director in January 2022. In her role as community schools director, Leigh Ann is responsible for the planning, implementation, management and evaluation of community schools in Racine County, in partnership with school district staff, United Way funded partners, families, students and community members. When not in the office, Leigh Ann enjoys spending time outdoors with her children, running and competitive ballroom dancing.

Lori Riffer

Lori coordinates United Way of Racine County's internal initiatives, including Schools of Hope and VITA. She also oversees the Financial Fitness Network, which combined with the United Way of Kenosha County in 2018, to offer trainings and resources to non-profit providers in Racine and Kenosha Counties. She joined the team as a seasonal employee in 2016 and became a full-time employee in 2017. In 2022, she was promoted from initiatives manager to initiatives director. In her spare time she loves to shoot pool and plays on multiple leagues.

MaryBeth Kallio - CSR

Stephanie Buchanan

Stephanie started with United Way in 2022. In her role as Investor Relations Director, she is responsible for coordinating United Way's annual campaign and supporting functions for donor relationship management. This includes running workplace campaigns in Racine County, soliciting nonworkplace campaign revenue for a portfolio of United Way of Racine County investors and maintaining database integrity. In her free time, there is no place Stephanie would rather be than at the beach, listening to the waves crash and breathing in the salty ocean air.

Stuart Wood

Stuart joined United Way of Racine County in October 2023 as the Walking School Bus Coordinator for Racine Unified School District's community schools. In this role, he works with community school coordinators, school staff, volunteers, and parents to ensure the safest walking routes for our school children. In his spare time, Stuart enjoys walking and spending time with his three children.

Tracie Feest

Tracie started with United Way in 2013 as the investor services manager and later became the investor relations manager. In 2021, she transitioned to the role of data and compliance manager, and in 2022, she was promoted to her current role as the data and compliance director. In this role, she works closely with the community investment process to gather impact data for United Way and ensure funded organizations meet compliance requirements for funding. When she's not at work, she loves spending time with her family, reading and listening to music.

Zyaire Strowder

Zyaire started at United Way in 2021. As the community school coordinator for Knapp Elementary, she facilitates and provides leadership for the collaborative process and development of services for children, families and community members within Knapp and the surrounding areas. Her passions are basketball and reading.
