UNIVERSITY FLORIST

University Florist in downtown Chapel Hill has been a family-owned, continually operated business since 1946. Collectively, Pop and I have put six decades of love into our dream... Pop graduated with a business degree from UNC-Chapel Hill. After completing his patriotic duty with the U.S. Army, he married my mother and bought University Florist. Then he became a father. First came my sister…then me. I've been sweeping floors at the shop since I could hold a broom. (I've become a very good sweeper!)
