WAKONDA CLUB - Key Persons
This is Aaron's twelfth year at Wakonda Club and his sixth year as Director of Golf.
Aaron has been playing golf since he was four years old and has a deep passion for
junior golf. He believes the game teaches kids valuable life lessons and develops

Dan just completed his 21st year of teaching, all at Waukee High School. He is an AP Chemistry/Chemistry teacher as well as a swim coach for the girls, boys and 8th grade teams at Waukee. The girls team just won back-to-back state titles and set a new, all-time high points earned at the state meet with 402 points. They return 12 of 15 qualifiers for next season. The boys team just won a three-peat also setting a new record with 304 points at the state meet. The boys graduated 6 All-Americans (top 100 in the USA) this year and several swimming collegiately at D1 schools. Dan resides in Waukee with his wife, Tiffany, and they have 6 kids: Cameron, Kiara, Caleb, Calvin, Corbin and Kambria.

Professional. Golf has been a part of Grant's life since he was 12 years old. He attended
Ferris State University, earned his bachelor's degree in business and was elected
into PGA membership. In 2016, Grant was awarded the lowa PGA Assistant Golf

2022 is Tyler's tenth season at Wakonda Club. Tyler is a graduate of Grand View
University where he played on the golf team all four years. From 2018-2020 he
was the head golf coach at Simpson College. He was awarded the 2019 lowa PGA
Assistant Golf Professional of the Year. Tyler recently earned his Class A PGA status.
