We best serve children by serving the entire family, we offer a variety of opportunities for parents to find jobs, return to school, get referrals to jobs skills programs and GED classes, learn parenting skills, volunteer in their children's classes, be Lunch Buddies, learn literacy skills and enjoy special events... We promote soft skills, that include using words instead of actions when angry or frustrated, listening and following directions, sharing, delaying gratification, putting away toys and belongings, being responsible and helpful, always respecting others... Wayne Reed offers parent partnering between families at the center and families at Otter Creek Church of Christ. In addition, medical professionals offer seminars on healthy eating, common health problems and the developmental stages of young children. IRS help is also offered by professionals.
