Keeping the public informed through various news media outlets on matters affecting the financial well being of credit unions, involves a daily communications effort by your League. Part of the public relations/media relations mix involves monitoring news while responding to inquiries from trade and general media outlets. Through these efforts, the League is tasked with shaping the public's image of credit unions as cooperatively owned and democratically controlled financial cooperatives. With a rich history in serving people from all walks of life in a safe and sound manner, credit unions have a compelling story to tell and your League believes it is worth telling often.
