Archana is based in Ahmedabad and is widely known throughout India for encouraging craftsmen and women to use their skills in the clothing that she makes. Archana has for many years worked with groups of artisans in Gujarat and beyond. She has fostered their traditional skills to improve the quality of their lives. We at Maharani are proud to have been associated with all that she and they have achieved. So you will find silk and cotton weaves, running stitch designs, embroidered muslins based on the chikan work from Lucknow, cotton tops and linen tops and dresses, all of which are exclusive to Maharani.
