C. Duane Bellamy

Job Titles:

Dr. Bellamy earned a bachelor's degree from the University of Cincinnati before going on to UC's College of Medicine for his medical degree. His postgraduate training was done in obstetrics and gynecology at Good Samaritan Hospital, Cincinnati, and in anesthesiology at the University of Kentucky, where he spent six months in subspecialty training in pain management. In 10 years with Comprehensive Anesthesia, PSC, Dr. Bellamy practiced at St. Luke and Bethesda Hospitals. Concurrently, he served as medical director of the Pain Care Institute, Ltd. He joined AAC and PMA in 1999. He currently serves as the director of our interventional pain practice through PMA and sits on the board of directors of AAC. A fellow of the American Academy of Disability Evaluating Physicians, Dr. Bellamy is a diplomate of the American Boards of Pain Medicine and Anesthesiology. He remains active in several professional societies.

John M. Collins

A graduate of Kalamazoo College in Michigan, Dr. Collins earned his medical degree at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine. He then did his internship and a residency in internal medicine at The Christ Hospital and a second residency in anesthesiology at the UC Medical Center. Dr. Collins served as the pain program director at Mercy Franciscan Western Hills and Deaconess hospitals, and also as a director of the department of anesthesia at Deaconess Hospital. He joined AAC and PMA in 1998 and is one of six physicians in our interventional pain practice through PMA. Dr. Collins is a diplomate of the American Boards of Internal Medicine and Anesthesiology. He earned subspecialty certification in interventional pain management from the American Board of Anesthesiology. He is involved in leadership positions in the Ohio Society of Anesthesiologists, serving as president in 2003-2004, and place and active role in the local and national societies, the American Society of Regional Anesthesia and the International Anesthesia Research Society.

Leslie F. Gunzenhaeuser

Dr. Gunzenhaeuser earned his bachelor's degree from the University of Toledo and his medical degree from The Ohio State University College of Medicine. He went on to do an internship and residency in internal medicine at North Carolina Memorial Hospital in Chapel Hill. Then, at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center, he did a residency in anesthesiology with subspecialty training in pain management. Before joining AAC and PMA in 1997, Dr. Gunzenhaeuser was chairman of the department of anesthesiology at St. Luke Hospitals in Northern Kentucky and attending anesthesiologist at the hospitals' Pain Care Institute. Dr. Gunzenhaeuser is one of six physicians in our interventional pain practice through PMA, of which he served as director, at one time. Dr. Gunzenhaeuser is a diplomate of the American Boards of Internal Medicine and Anesthesiology, and the American Society of Pain Medicine. He is a member of the American, Ohio, Northern Kentucky and Greater Cincinnati Societies of Anesthesiologists, as well as the American College of Physicians.

Lynda Groh

A graduate of Duke University, Dr. Groh earned her medical degree at The Ohio State University College of Medicine. She then completed her internship in internal medicine at The Christ Hospital, followed by a residency in anesthesiology and a fellowship in pain management at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center. Dr. Groh practiced in Dayton for four years with Seiler-Scharf Anesthesiologists, later coming to Cincinnati to practice at the St. Luke, Bethesda North and Jewish Hospitals. She also served as medical director of the Pain Care Institute. She joined AAC and PMA in 2002. Dr. Groh is one of six physicians in our interventional pain practice through PMA and is also director of Women's Health of The Christ Hospital. Dr. Groh is board certified by the American Board of Anesthesiology, with added qualifications in pain management, and by the American Board of Pain Medicine. She is involved in numerous pain and anesthesia professional societies.

Richard V. Gregg

Dr. Gregg earned his bachelor's, master's and medical degrees from the University of Louisville in Kentucky, and he did his internship in internal medicine at the University of Louisville Affiliated Hospitals. At the University of Cincinnati Medical Center, he did a residency in anesthesiology and a fellowship in pain and regional anesthesia. For the 10 years before joining AAC and PMA, as director in 1996, Dr. Gregg was director of the University of Cincinnati Pain Control Center and the pain management fellowship program. He also served as assistant professor in the university's anesthesiology department. Dr. Gregg is one of six physicians in our interventional pain practice through PMA. Dr. Gregg is a diplomate of the American Boards of Anesthesiology and Pain Medicine. He is involved in the national, state and local societies of anesthesiologists and is a past president of the Greater Cincinnati Society of Anesthesiologists.
