Jill Pape

  • Claim Audit and Compliance Associate
Responsibilities Jill Pape has over 25 years of experience in the healthcare insurance industry. Pape currently serves as Claims Audit and Compliance Associate for AIM. She works closely with the account teams, clients, and claims team in preparing and conducting claim audits for various self-funded accounts. She assists with managing all aspects of the claims audit and directly works with the Administrative Special Projects Coordinator to prepare data for each audit, track results of the claims reviewed, produce reports on the audit findings, and work with accounting for invoices. Background Prior to joining the Audit Department, Pape was an Employee Benefits Specialist at Conner Strong & Buckelew. She worked as a liaison between client contacts, employees, and the consulting teams. Prior to that Pape was a Client Service Associate supporting clients and members with plan questions and claims. Before joining Conner Strong & Buckelew, she worked with other large consulting firms and handled claims and insurance issues at health care providers.

Joan Brong

Job Titles:
  • Senior Compliance Consultant
Responsibilities Joan Robinson Brong advises medium and large multi-national employers on Healthcare Reform, HIPAA, ERISA, FMLA, COBRA and other federal and state laws governing health and welfare plan design and administration. Brong drafts complex health and welfare benefit plans, performs administrative compliance reviews for medium and large clients, and assists with drafting the annual open enrollment materials. Background Prior to joining AIM in March, 2015, Brong was a compliance consultant at Mercer Health & Benefits where she was a member of the Regulatory Resources Group. Prior to Mercer, Brong was a benefits analyst at Morgan Lewis in Philadelphia where she was a member of the Employee Benefits Group. Joseph M. DiBella

Job Titles:
  • Executive Partner, National Health & Benefits Practice Leader
Responsibilities Joseph DiBella is responsible for leading all aspects of AIM. DiBella also plays an active and ongoing benefits consulting role with key clients and is engaged in program design, financial evaluation, health and wellness, compliance, communications and other key client facing areas. Background DiBella joined AIM in 2005 with many years of senior leadership experience in the group benefits industry. Most recently, DiBella led National and Large Account business for Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield of New Jersey. He was responsible for overseeing a department that managed more than 350 group accounts with revenues near $1 billion in annual premiums. From 1991 to 2005, DiBella was with Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield of New Jersey. For a portion of that time he worked for Horizon's HMO subsidiary company in product management and managed care policy and development. During his tenure with Horizon, he also managed Fortune 100 clients and handled all major sectors including Taft-Harley, Multi-Employer plans, Multi-State accounts, Government Entity, Public Education, Not-for-Profit, Professional Services, Manufacturing, Healthcare, and Pharmaceutical. DiBella has significant experience in labor negotiations, health and wellness design, underwriting, benefits administration, compliance, communications and data analytics. He has been fully engaged in health and benefits for some of the nation's largest companies. DiBella was recognized by the Philadelphia Business Journal as one of the region's top young professionals in 2009. He has published several articles on controlling health care costs and the use of effective strategies in benefits management. Phyllis M. Saraceni

Responsibilities Phyllis Saraceni is Senior Partner, Compliance & Audit Practice Leader for AIM. She is responsible for supporting customers and the firm's benefit consulting staff on a day to day basis, preparing legal and regulatory updates and communication, interpreting emerging laws and regulations related to benefits and managing the firm's benefits audit function. Background Saraceni brings more than 30 years of professional experience to the firm. Prior to joining AIM, she was a Principal for Mercer Health and Benefits for nearly 12 years where she supported clients and internal staff in various functions related to health and welfare compliance and legal matters. Previous to Mercer, Saraceni held positions at various law firms specializing in ERISA and benefits law.
