Smiley Public Library is an official point of historical interest designated by the California Historical Landmarks Advisory Committee, and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places... Established in 1894, A.K. Smiley Public Library has served generations of patrons in the City of Redlands and beyond. The only "admission fee" is curiosity. Lifelong learning is at the center of activity in the beautiful, historic building and attractive grounds!... We want to hear from you! Special Collections staff are hard at work to create the inaugural exhibits for the Museum of Redlands, including "I Am Redlands," a digital display featuring photographs of Redlanders throughout time. Consider sharing your photos for possible inclusion in "I Am Redlands" and to be archived in the Special Collections of A.K. Smiley Public Library.
