David's professional background is further enriched by his tenure at Delta Air Lines from 1990 to 2005. As a Supervisor/Duty Manager, he was involved in Public Contact and Ramp Operations for both International and Domestic flights. His role at Delta honed his skills in public relations, operational management, and team leadership. He was responsible for ensuring smooth, on-time operations and addressing public relations issues, enhancing his problem-solving and customer service skills.
Additionally, at Delta, David played a key role in managing monthly and quarterly results across the entire account base, reporting to division managers and directors. His leadership extended to overseeing 20 to 300 employees in various operational roles, from loading and fueling to managing super tug operations and weight and balance procedures.

With a career spanning over four decades in the horticulture industry, Matthew DuCharme stands as a testament to dedication and expertise in the field. His journey began with humble roots, engaging in landscape installation work during his high school and college years. This early exposure laid the foundation for what would become a lifelong passion and profession.
Matthew's academic pursuits led him to Auburn University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Ornamental Horticulture, specializing in Landscape Design. This formal education equipped him with a deep understanding of the intricacies of landscape aesthetics and functionality.
His professional career took off in 1989 with McPlants Landscape Install Division, where he honed his skills in landscape installation. In 1991, Matthew transitioned to the Morrell Group as a Landscape Maintenance Account Manager. Here, he showcased his leadership and management prowess, supervising four maintenance and enhancement crews. His portfolio during this period included prestigious properties such as Phipps Plaza, Perimeter Mall, Lenox Mall, Concourse @ Landmark Center, and Hyatt Ravinia Perimeter.
In 1996, Matthew embarked on an entrepreneurial journey, founding Alternative Environments Landscape Management, Inc. Under his stewardship, the company has flourished, growing from fourteen residential accounts to over 2,000 current customer accounts. This growth is a testament to his vision, leadership, and commitment to excellence in landscape management.
Matthew's credentials are as impressive as his experience. He is a Certified Arborist, holding a 10-year certification from the International Society of Arboriculture (SO-5708A). Additionally, he possesses a Category 24 Ornamental and Turf and Pest Control License (#16644), including an operator's license. His expertise is further recognized by his certification from the Georgia Soil and Water Conservation Committee (GSWCC Level 1).
Beyond his business endeavors, Matthew is deeply committed to his community. He has been an active member of the City of Douglasville Tree Board since 2018 and is a proud member of the 2021 Class of Leadership Douglas County.
