The Old Anandians' Group of 99 consists of past students of Ananda who either took or should have taken the G C E Advanced Level exams in the year 1999 as their first sitting. This batch is unique since it comprises of students from the first batch since the Primary Section was reinstated at Ananda College in 1986... Membership of the Old Anandians' Group of 99, which was founded in 2005, currently stands at around 200 and are dispersed across a wide array of professions and are located in many parts of the world. Strong networks and communication links have facilitated the Group to coordinate efficiently amongst its membership and the Group has already started contributing to the betterment of Ananda and the society at large... This is the Old Anandians Group of 99. Ananda College is one of Sri Lanka's Premier Buddhist Academic Institutions with Primary and Secondary Education.
