Adrian is the promoter and co-founder of Artio Corporate Services Limited and Artio Trustees Limited together with Kevin Vella. He sits on the board of Artio Corporate Services Limited and Artio Trustees Limited in an executive capacity.
Adrian is a lawyer focusing extensively on corporate law, regulatory and compliance matters. He also acts as company secretary for a number of Malta-based licence holders authorised by the Malta Financial Services Authority (MFSA) and international groups with a presence in Malta. During the last ten years Adrian has worked on various licensing applications approved by the Malta Financial Services Authority and the Lotteries and Gaming Authority in Malta. He has advised companies and investment funds listed on the Malta Stock Exchange on financial markets legislation and the Malta Financial Services Authority Listing Rules. He was also involved in IPOs, private placements, and bond issues involving Maltese companies.
Elaine handles all back-office support and administration operations and services
Berta holds a Bachelor of Arts (Hons.) degree in Accountancy and is a Certified Public Accountant with over twenty years post qualification experience, mainly in a senior management role at the Malta Stock Exchange, where she headed the Exchange's Finance Department. She was a member of the Audit Committee from its inception and more recently also a member of the Prospects Committee approving admissions to the Exchange's Prospects market.
She started her career in 1997 at PricewaterhouseCoopers before joining the Malta Stock Exchange, 3 years later where she was involved both directly and indirectly in the growth and development of the Stock Exchange's new lines of business. She was primarily responsible for the fulfilment all financial regulatory requirements with the MFSA. Berta joined Artio Corporate Services very recently and is involved in the provision of client accountancy and advisory services.
Artio was established in 2012 as a multi-disciplinary firm in Malta providing trustee and fiduciary services, company formation and support services, business processing outsourcing and regulatory and compliance services.
Artio Corporate Services Limited is a registered person in terms of the Company Service Providers Act. Artio Trustees Limited is authorised to act as a trustee, or co-trustee, to provide fiduciary services and to act as administrator of private foundations in terms of the Trusts and Trustees Act.
Elaine is works in back-office support and administration operations, which includes company administration services.
Prior to joining Artio in 2018, she worked for 20 years at the Malta Stock Exchange in the Depository, Compliance, Internal Audit and Finance Departments.
Berta is mainly involved in the provision of client accountancy and advisory services
Katrina is responsible for client relationship and back-office support at Artio Corporate Services Limited. She has been employed with the company since inception.
Her main duties include maintaining a direct communication channel with Artio's clients, identifying customer's needs, and handling day-to- day back office support/company administration duties. Katrina holds a Bachelor of Sciences (Business and Computing) from the University of Malta and a Diploma in Fund Administration.
Prior to joining Artio, Katrina held the post of senior assistant (client administration) within the Investment Operations Department of a leading financial services company listed on the Malta Stock Exchange garnering extensive experience in client administration and the financial services industry in general.
Kevin is the promoter and co-founder of Artio Corporate Services Limited and Artio Trustees Limited together with Adrian Cutajar. He sits on the board of Artio Corporate Services Limited and Artio Trustees Limited in an executive capacity.
Kevin holds a Bachelors of Arts (Hons.) degree in Accountancy and a Master of Arts in Financial Services from the University of Malta. He is a Certified Public Accountant in Malta, holds a practicing certificate in auditing and is also a Fellow of the Institute of Accountants. He started his career in 1996 at PricewaterhouseCoopers in Malta and prior to co-founding the Artio Group together with Adrian Cutajar, he held a senior position at the MFSA and subsequently held the post of COO and CFO with a leading financial services company listed on the Malta Stock Exchange.
Kevin has extensive experience the financial services sector, including insurance business and its complex regulatory framework, as well as topmost level management experience, including strategy execution and implementation in life insurance, health insurance, fund administration, IT, Call Centre set-ups etc. Today, he advises a number of firms in critical business functions.
