ASPPIRE

ASPPIRE provides support services and programs to adults with disabilities. Many of our participants are diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). However, we also work with individuals with other disabilities such as mental illness, learning disabilities, or developmental disabilities. Through social coaching programs, Person Centered Planning, and connections to community resources, ASPPIRE aims to help participants lead functional and productive lives... ASPPIRE's social coaching model was developed by Bob Steinkamp, educator, and a parent of two adult sons with Autism Spectrum Disorder. Our first social coaching group started in 2008 at Lansing Community College. ASPPIRE became a non-profit organization in 2011 and continues to grow and serve adults with social challenges and disabilities in the Mid-Michigan area.
