Anindya Novyan Bakrie

Anindya Novyan Bakrie is an Indonesian business magnate, global investor and prominent philanthropist. Through his business community leadership roles over the years, He represents Indonesia and Indo-Pacific business community voices in global fora and summits. He is the CEO of PT Bakrie Global Ventura, a leading investment house in Indonesia with vast experience in strategic investment and corporate revitalization. He also serves as the CEO of Bakrie & Brothers (BNBR) an Indonesian listed conglomerate with interests in infrastructure, electric vehicle, mining, oil & gas, power (incl. renewables and solar), property, and plantations. He is also the successor to the 80-year-old Bakrie group, one of the largest business groups growing with and for Indonesia, with 10 companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange with a combined market capitalization of over US$15 billion. He serves as the Chairman of Supervisory Board (2021-2025) at Indonesia Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KADIN) which is the statutory body of business organisations in Indonesia representing 34 provincial KADIN and +100 thousand businesses nationwide. He also serves as the Chairman of APEC Business Advisory Council (ABAC) Indonesia - established by APEC in 1995 as the official private sector arm to drive the regional economic cooperation. Through his leadership, ABAC Indonesia initiated the first Indonesia Impact Fund (IIF). Additionally, he is the elected Chairman of the Indonesian Aquatics Federation (PRSI). He joined the board of director at Oxford United Football Club since 2018 as he led the takeover of majority ownership of the club to be one of the first Indonesian majority owned English football clubs. As a global investor, he is pivoting the Group onto sustainable and digital investments in Electric Vehicle, Batteries, Renewables (mainly Solar PV), Prefab housing as well as Fintech and other emerging technologies.

Managing Director of Capital Managers Asia Pte Ltd., a leading Asia-focused financial advisory firm based in Singapore. Served as Commissioner in PT. Bumi Resources Tbk., PT. Bakrie Telecom Tbk., and PT. Energi Mega Persada Tbk. A successful entrepreneur and seasoned cross-cultural negotiator and deal maker. President of India Club in Jakarta. Chairman of the India Committee for the Indonesia Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KADIN). Mr Rathod has been associated with the Bakrie Group in Indonesia in various capacities for nearly 25 years holding various senior positions. He is currently Chief Executive Officer of Bumi plc in London, a leading thermal coal company with interests in the largest coal-producing assets in Indonesia, the world's biggest exporter of thermal coal. And Mr Rathod is also President Commissioner in PT. Kaltim Prima Coal and PT. Arutmin Indonesia, together worlds largest thermal coal export mines from Indonesia. These two mines are a Joint Venture (70:30) between PT Bumi Resources Tbk., Indonesia and Tata Power Ltd, India. He is also currently the Managing Director of Capital Managers Asia Pte Ltd., Singapore, a Financial Advisory firm operating in Asia. He has been appointed by Bakrie family as a Commissioner in PT. Bumi Resources Tbk., PT. Bakrie Telecom Tbk., and PT. Energi Mega Persada Tbk. All the above companies are part of the Bakrie Group. Mr. Rathod is a successful entrepreneur in his own capacity and a seasoned cross-cultural negotiator and deal maker.
