BARRIE GUN CLUB

Recently, in co-operation with the office of the Chief Firearms Officer for Ontario, we have made some major improvements to our six outdoor ranges. These changes will enable us to continue to hold major IPSC, PPC, and Cowboy Action competitions as well as regular house league rifle competitions... The junior programs operated by the Barrie Gun Club also offer high-quality instruction in the safe and ethical practice of archery and air rifle target shooting. Adults supervise and instruct youngsters as young as seven. Instruction consists of safety training, mental concentration training and sportsmanship, so that the safe handling of archery and firearms equipment becomes second nature. Many adults also accompany our juniors on our 3D archery course that winds through our property... In summary, we are a private, member owned and operated facility that provides an environment for firearms enthusiasts to enjoy their chosen sport safely and with others of a like mind.
