Adrianne Driscoll

After graduating with her associates from community college, Adrianne attended Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo as an English major until her husband proposed. Blissfully in love, she moved to her home town to finish her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Liberal Studies at Cal State Bakersfield. She had the privilege of being a stay at home mom for 10 years before jumping into her teaching career. Adrianne has been teaching at BCS since 2015. In 2022, she stepped into the role of Director of Finance and Missions. She is perfect for this job because she enjoys creating systems that enable our school to operate with fluency. Having grown up on the mission field, it is a great joy for her to empower her students to go into the nations. In her free time, you will find her hanging out with her family. She and her husband and have three fun and beautiful daughters. She also loves to listen to all sorts of music, journal and spend quality time with sisters.

Arielle Godfrey

Arielle Godfrey became part of our teaching staff in 2021. Immediately she went to work transforming her classroom into a wonder-filled room with anticipation of her incoming students. She is a teacher of excellence with joy. Her students love her and she loves them. She earned her BA in Elementary Education with a minor in K-12 reading from Montana State University in 2016. She loves that as a teacher she is able to inspire students and help them grow up to be excellent human beings! She especially loves teaching students how to read. Her hope is to impart joy and creativity. When Mrs. Godfrey is not teaching, she really enjoys reading, hiking with her husband Mr. Godfrey (who is our 6th grade teacher), and playing card games. Her favorite verse is John 16:33 "I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world, you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world!"

Aubrey Hastings

Aubrey Hastings joined the BCS staff in 2020, after completing two years at the Bethel School of Supernatural Ministry. She moved to Redding from Texas, where she had been teaching since 2013. Aubrey earned her B.A. English degree with a minor in Political Science from Washington College in Maryland. She completed her teaching credential requirements through Teach For America - an AmeriCorp service program committed to providing opportunities of educational equity and excellence for all children in economically disadvantaged communities. Aubrey believes in championing the God-given gifts and callings in children and teaching them ways to find God in all things. She believes in the importance of establishing a firm foundation in little ones owning their faith and aims to create a classroom culture in which there is space and opportunity given for children to learn the way(s) in which God is speaking to them personally. Her hope for her students is to impart a deep desire for friendship with Father God, Jesus, and Holy Spirit that will catalyst them into a lifetime of building a confident, trusting history with the Lord. When she is not teaching, Aubrey enjoys heart conversations with friends (coffee cups in hand), reading books from her favorite authors, watching movies, and finding hidden gems at thrift stores.

Becky Gaffney

Becky Gaffney joined our staff as a front desk receptionist while attending BSSM 1st and 2nd year. She and her husband moved to Redding with their 2 sons from Washington. Her boys both attended and now graduated from BCS. She graduated too and is now our BCS Office Manager. She is usually the first person that new families will meet at BCS as she is our Registrar. Becky is known for her compassionate and loving heart. She is lovely everyday! When she isn't busy at BCS, she loves to visit her friends and family in Washington, finding good deals shopping online and relaxing in her pool.

Bethel Church

Bethel Church established King's Kids Christian School in 1988. This was out of a desire to train and disciple children in the way of the Lord. Ray Larson, senior pastor at that time, led the school during its first years. The school was located at the former church site on North Bechelli Lane. The school started with preschool through third grade. As the enrollment increased and the school grew, classes were added to accommodate students.

Bill Johnson became the senior pastor of the church in 1996. The leadership team firmly established the commitment to Bethel Christian School. Bill Johnson's philosophy was and is that a parent's responsibility to ‘train up a child in the way he should go' dictates that the church provides an environment to help them accomplish this goal.

Cheree Foy joined our staff in 2021 as the assistant to the Vice Principal. When the Vice Principal became the principal, Cheree's job changed to "Community Life Pastor". She and her family moved from Australia in 2018 to attend BSSM. She completed 3 years and then joined our staff. As a parent of two beautiful BCS students, she had a heart to see families connect. You will find Cheree helping in the front office or connecting with families in the hall.

Dann Farrelly

Dann Farrelly is a pastor at Bethel Church and has been a member of our board more than ten years. Dann graduated from Simpson University with a BA in Biblical Studies and also from Fuller Seminary with a Masters of Divinity. He is a man filled with wisdom. We regularly give thanks to God for the blessing that he is to our school. Dann's vision is that our children would be life long learners and leaders. He believes that learning is good but understanding how to apply what you learn through leadership is the key to bringing God's joy and justice to the world. He and his beautiful wife Christie have three children that are all graduates of BCS. Dann is passionate about his family. He also enjoys watching sports and playing them when he can.

Jane McDonald

Jane McDonald joined our staff in the middle of the Covid year of 2020. She graduated 3rd year BSSM in May of 2020. She moved to Redding from Napa Valley and has served the Lord faithfully all her life. She loves partnering with God to bring His will and purposes alive in those around her. She loves children of all ages and is often called "Mama Jane". She has 5 grandchildren that call her "Jamma Jane". She is the first greeting that your children will experience daily as she is front desk receptionist. She loves to read, worship, play her piano, and float on the lake while enjoying God's presence.

Jonathan Overstreet

Jonathan Overstreet joined our staff as a substitute teacher in 2019-20 school year. Our staff and students loved him so much that he was asked to stay on as a full time teacher the following year teaching 6th grade. He grew up outside St. Louis, Missouri and attended a Christian school until 7th grade. He later joined Youth With A Mission in Maui a year after graduating high school. He remained in missions for the next 6 years and then completed 2 years of BSSM. Jonathan earned a BA at Simpson University with a teaching credential and began teaching. He is a well read and far traveled having visited 20 different countries. He thinks that exploration is the best form of education. His vision for his students is for every student to grow in compassion, curiosity and competence in their knowledge of God and his creation. Jonathan loves Jesus, life, people, learning, adventure, and every sport that exists. Your student will love being in his class!

Don joined the BCS staff in 2009, bringing with him over 32 years of music and choral direction experience. Don earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Oklahoma Baptist University and a Master's Degree in Kodally from Holy Names University. Before joining the BCS staff, he taught music at Humboldt State University. Don inspires students with his wit and love of what he teaches. In 2022, he added the BCS Director of Operations to his busy schedule. He and his wife, Kindra, moved to Redding to be a part of Bethel's Revivalist Culture. They have three children that graduated from BCS. Kindra and Her husband Don (BCS's own music teacher) moved to Redding in the fall of 2009 so their three children could attend BCS. As they were touring the school, Kindra saw a person in the hall and the thought went through her mind that she wanted her job so she asked God for it even though she had no idea who the woman was or what her job happened to be. Six month's later Mr. Mayer the former BCS principal called and asked Kindra if she would like a job. His assistant had just had a baby and decided to not come back to work. Guess who's job it was? The woman in the hall so many months earlier. Her job has morphed into Administration and Outreach, but ultimately her heart is to raise up Warriors who know and love God. She does many different things at BCS but her favorite is K-3rd grade Chapel service and leading parent intercession.

Megan Beason joined our staff in 2018 as the leader of the Aftercare team. In 2021 she accepted the job of support staff coordinator. She is the master of fun! She continually inspires our staff with many ideas that bring life and draw our students and staff closer to God. She loves to see people flourish in relationship with one another. She graduated first year at BSSM and is currently working toward her degree to become a social worker.

Mr. Todd Brown

Mr. Todd Brown joined the BCS staff in 2012, moving here from Oregon with his wife and children. He taught first grade for the first six years and then moved up to the 4th grade and in 2022 he began teaching 7th/8th grade Math. He is a man of integrity and an inspiring influence on children not only academically but also spiritually. Todd loves to work with children because they are "full of joy, lots of fun, and they crack him up!" He enjoys collaboration in the classroom, but also tries to incorporate individual learning strategies. Once he has figured out the strengths of his students, he designs activities that meet their optimal learning patterns. Todd graduated from Eugene Bible College in 2008 with a Bachelor's Degree in Pastoral Studies and received a Master of Arts in Teaching from George Fox University in 2012. His favorite scripture verse is Hebrews 10:35: "We are not of those who shrink back and are destroyed, but of those who believe and are saved."

Nina Frost

Nina Frost has been a teacher at BCS since 1991. She is a native Hawaiian, born on the island of Oahu. She brings a heart of sunshine to her classroom. She came to know the Lord at the age of eight and became very involved in church. At one time in her life, Nina did missionary work in Mexico with "Youth Unlimited Gospel Outreach" for four years. She has raised three sons, all of which attended BCS. In fact, her oldest son, Joshua, was in the first junior high graduating class. Nina believes that all believers are to minister to their own communities and it is important to remember the brave men and women who protect our world, country, and cities. She endeavors to teach her students to be thankful for the sacrifices that many families have endured to protect and keep our country free. She sees the Lord as her counselor, friend, teacher, and her savior. Her heart's desire is to do the Lord's will, and she is filled with joy at the privilege of knowing Him.

Sadie Hess is passionate to see people with developmental disabilities find freedom and hope. She is a business woman having started her own company at the age of 23. She graduated from Simpson University with a BS in Psychology and from Liberty University with a Masters in Counseling and Psychology. She and her husband have three children who attend BCS. Sadie enjoys volleyball and competitive softball.

Stephanie Middleton

Stephanie Middleton graduated from Anderson University Indiana in 2006 with BA in Education. She has taught all grade levels including homeschool her four children. BCS invited her to join our teaching staff in 2021 as our 3rd grade teacher. Her hope as a teacher is that students would know God, recognize His Presence manifesting through their lives while partnering with the Holy Spirit in all things to release the solutions of heaven that the whole world is longing for. When Mrs. Middleton is not teaching, she loves to spend time with family and friends. While she loves to play outside enjoying recreational activities at the lake or ocean and eating out, sometimes she just enjoys a good book, writing or playing the guitar.

Susan Allen

Susan Allen grew up as a YWAM missionary kid in Hawaii and Southeast Asia and through her growing up experiences, developed a passion for the younger generation to walk with God. After several years of working as a teacher in the United States, Susan, her husband James, and their four children relocated to Penang, Malaysia and served as missionaries for 14 years. In Malaysia Susan worked as a teacher and administrator at a large international school, Their family relocated to Redding, California in June 2019, and Susan completed a master's degree in Christian Spiritual Formation and Leadership from Friends University. For the past several years, Susan has worked as a conference speaker and spiritual formation consultant with Christian schools around the world. In partnership with Bethel Christian School, she began the BCS Encounter Home School Program, served as the vice principal one year and was recently appointed as Bethel Christian School's Principal.
