Andrea Salazar - COO

As Chief Operating Officer at Biosero, Andrea Salazar is responsible for developing and maintaining a seamless experience among the company, its customers and numerous business partners. She helped grow the company from four team members in 2011 to 50 employees worldwide in 2020. Andrea is also responsible for designing Biosero's pricing and sales commission structures, contributing to a double-digit increase in profitability. She has been instrumental in the launch of Biosero's "WHY" project, an annual initiative that provides monetary awards to charities selected by the Biosero employees. Before joining Biosero in 2011, Andrea served as a subcontract manager for The National Aeronautics and Space Administration's (NASA) Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL). For ten years, she managed and negotiated contracts for various Mars Projects. Andrea earned a bachelor's degree in accounting from California State Polytechnic, Pomona.

Bill Davidson

Bill Davidson is the COO of Amionx. Amionx pioneered technology called SafeCore which helps prevent lithium-ion batteries from being the source of fire or explosion. Davidson has more than 36 years of experience in leading technical sales, marketing, operations and general management roles in the telecommunications and semiconductor industries. Prior to joining Amionx, Bill founded the Sapienter Group and serves as CEO. The Sapienter Group is an advisory firm that specializes in business strategy, marketing, public relations and investor relations. Previously, Davidson was Senior Vice President and Chief Administrative Officer of GLOBALFOUNDRIES, leading the Human Resources, IT, Corporate Marketing and Communications, Government Relations, Risk Management, Sustainability and Real Estate organizations. He also spent 12 years at Qualcomm where his final role was Senior Vice President, Strategy and Operations and Senior Vice President of Investor Relations. In these roles, Davidson oversaw reporting and operations, executed on strategic global business initiatives, for Qualcomm's international offices. He also served as SVP of Global Marketing at Qualcomm for six years. Davidson also spent 13 years at Bell Atlantic where he gained substantial experience in the wireline business at New Jersey Bell, as well as serving as Vice President of Wireless Data Sales and Marketing for Bell Atlantic Mobile, now Verizon. Davidson also served as Vice President of Commercial Sales Operations for GE Capital's Telecommunications Financial Services Division.

Michelle Talarico - CFO

Michelle Talarico, Chief Financial Officer, joined Biosero in 2022. Michelle has more than eighteen years of experience in finance roles. As Chief Financial Officer, Michelle is responsible for all aspects of Biosero's global finances. Previously, Michelle served as Vice President of Finance at eMolecules, a platform that provides direct access to a vast collection of readily available advanced chemical intermediaries. In 2021, Avista Capital Partners, a leading private equity firm focused exclusively on healthcare, agreed to invest in eMolecules. Prior to that, Michelle served as Controller and Finance Manager at MeLLmo, a provider of mobile business intelligence, where she was responsible for managing all accounting functions for the US corporation and foreign subsidiaries. MeLLmo was acquired by SAP in 2016. Prior to that, she served in many financial and accounting consulting roles targeted around assisting venture-backed and start-up companies through growth phases. Michelle holds a B.A. in Accounting from Point Loma Nazarene University.

Rob Harkness

Rob Harkness is the Managing Director at Biosero UK/EU. Rob is responsible for the European operation that has been growing rapidly over the last couple of years. He also works closely along with the Biosero commercial team, assisting in the development of our roadmap by using the close relationship that Biosero values with their customers. Rob has worked for over 20 years delivering laboratory automation solutions to the Life Science and Consumer Products business sectors. Rob received a B.Sc in Computer-Aided Chemistry from the University of Surrey in 1999 and a Ph.D. for his work titled "Novel Software Solutions for Automating Biochemical Assays" in 2010. He initially started out as a programmer, developing a scheduling software package for controlling robotic arms within an automated platform but then moved more towards project management and business development. Rob also serves as a Director for the Standards in Laboratory Automation (SiLA) consortium, an effort from within the life science community to create open system communication and data standards.

Ryan Bernhardt - Chief Commercial Officer

Ryan Bernhardt is the Chief Commercial Officer for Biosero where he leads Business Development opportunities through strategic partnerships, collaborations, and commercial agreements to increase diverse market penetration for Biosero's industry-leading Green Button Go automation scheduling software suite. In this role, Ryan also oversees Biosero's productization roadmap and strategic focus as it relates to Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, Applications, and Business Development. Prior to joining Biosero, Ryan Bernhardt, spent the last six and half years at Eli Lilly and Company as the Global Discovery Automation Research and Technologies Group Leader, leading a team of automation engineers and scientists in the design, implementation, and operation of a variety of innovative automation initiatives across Research and Development Laboratories. During his time at Lilly, Ryan was the Automation Architect and Integration Leader for the Lilly Life Sciences Studio (L2S2); a state-of-the-art, fully automated Drug Discovery Platform located at Lilly's Biotechnology Center in La Jolla, CA. Ryan received Lilly's Top 100 Innovator Award for his track-based, modular design of L2S2 which incorporates a multi-level scheduling software infrastructure. This physical and digital automation architecture has influenced the design of many other automated platforms and products across the external Life Science and Lab Automation communities. Among many other projects, Ryan led his team in the design and implementation of one of the world's first fully automated Covid-19 Diagnostic Testing processes for Lilly's Clinical Diagnostic Lab at the onset of the pandemic in early March 2020. Prior to joining Lilly, Ryan held a few positions at Hamilton Robotics, including his role as the Global Business Unit Leader of Emerging Automation Markets.

Steve Proia

Steve retired from JPL in January 2016. He was the Chief Financial Officer and Director for Business Operations at JPL. He joined the Lab in 1979, and spent five years in the mid-1980s as the Director of Contracts for a defense contractor in the San Diego area. Originally from the Maryland suburbs of Washington, D.C., Steve has an MBA from the University of Maryland. Steve's years of experience encompassed all facets of government contracting and finance, and he was directly involved in the negotiation of contracts for the operation of JPL. Since retiring Steve continues to serve on the Board of a major Credit Union and spends time golfing and consulting with small businesses on a variety of subjects.

Tom Gilman - CEO, President
