Ms. Dillon is a graduate of Kennesaw State University and is a CPA. She has held accounting and management positions in a variety of industries, working for companies such as ABC Radio, The Walt Disney Company and Cumulus Media. Amy grew up in the Ball Ground area. She enjoys mountain biking on local trails, her ladies' Bible study group, and traveling with her family.

Drew Laurens began working at BRMRC five years ago as a clinical technician and personal trainer. Over the years he developed a series of didactic lectures designed to empower the clients to take back their physical fitness, or even gain it for the first time. While serving on all shifts he increased his knowledge and skill in the field and eventually was appointed the Director of Quality and Control, Risk Management, and Performance Improvement. Though Drew is new in the role, his preoccupation with the safety of all those who enter the facility isn't, and he looks forward to serving the needs of the facility to its client's satisfaction.

Gail Beard has been working in the addiction treatment field for 30 years now. She has an undergraduate degree and is certified through GACA as a level II Addiction Counselor and Clinical Supervisor. Gail started working in a 28 day residential program in Dalton GA and thanks to their encouragement, she progressed in the field working as a manager at an all woman's facility and a Clinical Director at a long term treatment program serving young men, ages 16 to 30. She has seen many of her previous clients become dynamic leaders in the addiction field and other fields which makes her know that treatment not only works but can make us dynamic. Gail's currently serves as Director of the Family and Alumni Program at Blue Ridge. It is her favorite role so far because she sees not only clients heal from the ravages of addiction but also their families. She feels it is an honor and privilege to serve Blue Ridge Recovery Center.
Heather Powell comes to Blue Ridge Mountain Recovery Center with over 20 years of experience in the healthcare field. As the Human Resources Manager, she supports our staff with her experience & exceptional organizational skills. She feels blessed to have a career she loves which allows her to make a difference in people's lives. She has a compassionate heart for others & enjoys doing volunteer work through community projects in the area.
Jackie is from North Carolina where she graduated with an Associate's Degree in Nursing from the Wilkes Community College School of Nursing in Wilkesboro, before settling in Cumming, GA. With over 20 years of experience in nursing, including 4 years in residential substance abuse treatment, Jackie brings impressive knowledge and leadership to Blue Ridge Mountain Recovery Center. Most recently, she served as Director of Nursing for Recovery Outfitters, Inc. in Cumming, GA.
As the Director of Nursing, Jackie provides nursing leadership and direct care for our medical detox and residential treatment programs. Jackie is an important leader in our therapeutic treatment program working directly with the medical staff, inter-disciplinary team and our clients. With Jackie leading the nursing staff, Blue Ridge Mountain Recovery Center continues to be a leader in the field of addiction treatment.
Jason Wiren has been in the field of addiction for over 15 years now, getting his start working with adolescents struggling with co-occurring disorders. Having lost family members to addiction, it has fueled his fire to help all addicts to get the help they so desperately need. He has been a Certified Addictions Counselor since 2008 through the GACA. Working in admissions for the last 4 years has been a blessing to him. Not only is his calm voice and demeanor a beacon for those in crisis, but he is able to help as many people possible find their path to recovery.

Mr. Gunter graduated with a business management degree from Chattahoochee Technical College. He has held multiple operational jobs over the past 15 years, working for companies both small and large. He is a native of Canton Georgia and enjoyed playing baseball throughout his youth. Now he enjoys renovating properties and watching his Auburn football team on his down time.

Katie Laurens is a native of Indiana where she graduated cum laude from the University of Evansville with a B.S. in Psychology. Upon graduation, Katie worked in the county Probation Department, handling intakes and conducting pre-sentence investigations for two years. Shortly after marrying, Katie moved to Canton, GA and began working at Blue Ridge Mountain Recovery Center, holding a variety of positions including overnight clinical technician, medical technician, and HR Manager. While serving as the HR Manager, Katie attended courses at Kennesaw State University's College of Continuing Education and earned her SHRM-CP certification. Katie is currently serving as the Director of Medical Records. She enjoys spending her free time hiking with her husband and their two dogs, running marathons, and reading anything she can get her hands on.

My name is Todd Stumbo. I am a Board-Certified Human Services Practitioner, State Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor Level II, Internationally Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor Level II, Certified Clinical Supervisor, Relapse Prevention Specialist, Certified Anger Management Specialist, and Maxwell Certified Behavioral Analysis Trainer and Consultant in DISC Personality Profiling. I have over 16 years of experience in the addiction industry and am currently the Chief Executive Officer at Blue Ridge Mountain Recovery Center, a short-term intensive residential facility in Ball Ground, GA that targets males and females ages 18 and up. I specialize in employee training and growth, program enhancement, expansion, culture development, leadership coaching for individuals and groups, as well as leadership consultation for agencies in need. I enjoy being outdoors in almost any capacity, I am married to my unicorn, and I have two beautiful daughters and three dogs.
