Chrysanthe Gussis is an investor and advisor to early stage companies. She has deep finance, operational, legal and business strategy experience shaping new industries, new business models, and new asset classes, and scaling high volume, high growth businesses. She has particular expertise in financing strategy with businesses whose products reduce carbon emissions. Additionally, she serves on several corporate, government, non-profit and advisory boards.
As an early hire at SolarCity during an 8-year period of year-over-year doubling in growth, Chrysanthe helped make solar energy cheaper by developing scalable, lower-cost financing. She played a key role in SolarCity's growth from a small startup to a transformative energy platform and publicly traded company, deploying gigawatts of solar assets across the United States. She also has 20 years of experience in a wide range of financings, partnerships, acquisitions, and consumer, commercial, and corporate transactions.
Chrysanthe splits her time between San Francisco and Bolinas with her husband and 6 year old daughter. During her free time, among other things, she paints large abstract canvases. A student of art history and ancient archeology, art has always been a part of her life. She loves the changing exhibitions at the Bolinas Museum, and the community it has brought to her life. She has served on the Board since 2016.
Dieter Tremp and his wife, Lauren Pollak, have lived in Bolinas since 2002. Lauren is the 2nd grade teacher at the Bolinas School where their two daughters are students. Their dog Zoe greets every passer-by on Alder.
As an artist, Dieter Tremp has been an active member in the Bay Area art community since 1986. Dieter has been an active volunteer at the Bolinas Museum since 2004, starting first with curating exhibitions in the Coastal Marin Artists Gallery under Dolores Richards. Following these initial contributions, Dieter served as Curator of Exhibitions for seven years. He continues to serve on the Museum's Curatorial Committee and has consistently contributed his art and his services to local organizations and issues. He joined the Board of Directors in 2016.
Dieter Tremp was born and raised in Kiel, on the Baltic coast of Northern Germany. In 1986 he immigrated to San Francisco, following his love for Northern California. Considering publishing the closest relative to his passion, art, he joined o Miller Freeman publishing house in San Francisco.
In addition to his studies in art and art history (Tremp holds a double master's degree in business and in industrial engineering), before moving to Bolinas to focus on his family and his art, he was head of magazine publishing, tradeshows and new media for Outdoor Retailer in Laguna Beach, California.
Dieter's Board experience includes many years on the Board of Directors of the US Outdoor Industry Association and as member of the Executive Board of the North American Sea Kayak Trade Association. Closer to home, Dieter has served on the Board of the Children's Center and on Bolinas-Stinson School's Finance Committee. He also co-organizes the annual Bolinas-Stinson Open Studios.
Eileen has maintained an active role as a volunteer and board member at a variety of organizations in the Bay Area. Her earlier career was spent as a high-yield research analyst in New York City. A move to London, England provided an opportunity to work in the arts where she spent time interning in the Director's Office at the Victoria & Albert Museum. Her experiences at the V&A helped inspire a passion for collecting and enjoying art.
Eileen lives in Marin with her husband and two boys. They love time spent in Bolinas and recognize it as the perfect place to retreat as a family.

For several years before joining the staff of Bolinas Museum, Elia Haworth volunteered and curated several exhibitions for the museum. In 1999 the museum director Dolores Richards asked Elia to be her assistant for a month. That was 19 years ago and today she holds the institutional memory of the organization. Elia has worn many hats at the museum including curating more than 100 exhibitions and gathering Bolinas community history. Elia supported herself as an artist in many mediums before joining the staff. Her creativity is inspired by nature and natural history. She has lived in coastal Marin for 47 years.

Heather Mickley is a Marketing and Communications professional based in Point Reyes Station. She has years of agency-side experience in mindfulness, healthcare, financial, technology, craft beer, distillery, museum, and gallery industries. In recent years, Heather worked on the Marketing team at SFMOMA and managed a gallery in San Francisco. She curated the February and March 2021 exhibitions at Toby's Gallery in Point Reyes Station. In her free time, she is pursuing her art practice, traveling, cooking, swimming, hiking, volunteering, and hanging out with her new dog, Mochi.
Jack, along with his wife, Adrienne, have maintained a home in Bolinas for many years. Jack brings to the Board years of marketing and business strategy experience. After majoring in history (Dartmouth) and earning his MBA (Stanford GSB) he briefly became a "Madmen" in NYC marketing P&G products before moving to Time, Inc. to manage sales for Time-Life International Recordings in Japan, Australia, and New Zealand. He later relocated to Tokyo as Consumer Marketing Director for Time Magazine in Asia. After Time he joined Saturday Review Industries in San Francisco to launch four monthly magazines.
With this experience he started Ladd Associates, Inc. and was involved in the launch or restructuring of many special interest magazines. He developed two software planning systems that are currently licensed by direct marketers and publishers such as National Geographic, Conde Nast and Hearst magazines.
Jack has served on the boards of Point Blue Conservation (Chairman), Presidio Golf Club (President), and has participated in several pro-bono projects for the Stanford Alumni Consulting Team, which is dedicated to helping Bay Area non-profits achieve success.
Both Jack and Adrienne are ardent fans of the Bolinas Museum and believe it adds great value to the community and West Marin. Jack joined the Board in 2018.

Originally from West Marin, Kirston Lightowler is a writer, curator, publisher, and archivist. She has twenty years of experience as an archivist working with rare books, audiovisual materials, and special collections-in both small museums and large academic institutions. Kirston founded Epidote Press in 2014, an independent publishing imprint based in Inverness, CA. Epidote Press is devoted to publishing historical texts, as well as art and writing concerned with landscape and the poetics of place. When Kirston is not at the museum or the press, you can find her hiking, swimming in the bay, or foraging for thimbleberries.
Leah Vermulen Lopez is a fashion analyst/equity research consultant and photographer. Following a 12-year career as Sr. Vice President at Tiburon Research Group in San Francisco, she founded LVL Research, an independent equity research boutique. During her 15 years in San Francisco, Leah leaned into her Art History/Business degrees advising local artists and fashion designers and is excited to be putting the credentials back to use in West Marin.
As a mechanism to "celebrate" the epic light of coastal fog and to keep up with the growing body of artwork from her young daughter, Leah is currently working on her own fine art eco-photography. Also, under the moniker LeftCoastHost, she's working to inspire her peers and corporations to reduce their carbon footprints. Leah joined the board in 2018 and hopes to contribute to the continued success of the Bolinas Museum by bridging gaps in community and engaging more youth.

Louisa Gloger spent her formative years in Bolinas. Inspired early on by the flourishing arts program at the Bolinas-Stinson School, she graduated from Williams College with a B.A. in Art History. She worked at the National Gallery of Art in Washington DC, Berggruen Gallery in San Francisco, founded a cancer awareness non-profit, and a fine art consulting business, among other pursuits. Louisa is passionate about art, education, and Bolinas and shares, "I am thrilled to be joining the museum at such an important and exciting moment in its history. As a longtime resident of Bolinas, I am personally inspired by our community's commitment to the arts and celebrating diverse voices. Jennifer has done tremendous work in service of this mission, and I am honored to succeed her and lead our beloved museum forward in a way that continues to make a meaningful difference in the lives of all who are connected to coastal Marin."
Dr. Marialidia (Mols) Marcotulli is an avid surfer, often seen riding one of her custom single fin displacement boards on a left-breaking wave. She is an advancement entrepreneur, technology advocate, innovator, curator, and art collector. Born in Rome, Italy and raised in Venezuela, she comes from a long heritage of car racers, engineers, architects, and artists. Mols received her Ph.D. 2019, in Community, Liberation and Ecopsychology, with a focus on the human relationship with water.

Nancy Tully is a retired family law attorney. She has enjoyed being part of the Bolinas community for over 50 years. Her husband, Herb, is a 5th generation Bolinas resident and has great memories of spending time with other "summer colony" families. Nancy has been member of the Bolinas Museum Board sine 2000. She currently serves on the Development Committee, and has helped plan the annual Art Auction, July 3rd Cocktail Party, and other memorable museum events.
Randolph Rush is a retired endodontist. He and his artist wife Donna have maintained a home in Bolinas since 1975. They spend their free time traveling and flyfishing. He has been involved with the Bolinas Museum since its beginning. Randy joined the Board in 2010. Randy serves on the Finance and Governance committee.

Sara is a partner with the law firm of Sidley Austin LLP where she heads their Northern California litigation practice and is global co-leader of their Securities and Shareholder Litigation practice. Sara, her husband, two children and dog have been part time residents of Bolinas and frequent visitors to the Bolinas Museum for 15 years. She is also on the board of the Legal Aid Society in San Francisco. Sara joined the Board in 2014 and currently serves on the Finance & Governance Committee.
Terry has been a resident of West Marin for 30 years. She is best known for her extensive work as a sales and rental agent for Bolinas Real Estate.
Terry earned a BA in Literature from SUNY at Oneonta, and then attended St. Nicholas School of Theater in Chicago while working for various stock/options brokerages on the CBOE trading floor. The early ‘80's found her involved in innovative theatrical productions of the Chicago scene as actor, director, stagehand, and/or costume designer. She moved to Stinson Beach in 1986 and produced a number of community theatrical events like The Bong Show, Cirque du Lagoon, and three Stinson Beach Haunted Houses. She also co-coordinated the capital campaign to move the Stinson Beach Library to its current location and refurbish the Bolinas Library. While raising her son, Taran, her day jobs included a managerial apprenticeship with The Point Reyes Jeweler then as Director of Volunteers and Assistant to Bolinas Museum's then Executive Director, Dolores Richards. In 2001, after she embarked on her real estate career, she was invited to join the Museum Board in 2003 and is a member of the Curatorial Committee.
Thanks to the museum, she produced Bruno and Darlene Frascone's Mainstring Theatre Marionette show at the Peace Barn (2001), and curated two popular exhibitions: :Going Origami: From Art to Math to Science + Beyond" (2009); Barry McGee "Leave it Alone" with Clare Rojas "Together at Last" (2010).
Terry has been a licensed EMT during her entire time in West Marin joining first the Stinson Beach Volunteer Fire Department then, for the last 15 years, the Bolinas Volunteer Fire Department.
Vera Louie was born and raised in San Francisco and enjoys her time in Bolinas. During her working days, she worked for several tech companies providing critical support. As a parent, she volunteered with the schools and churches her children attended, including coordinating fundraisers and crab feeds, to teaching cooking classes and much more.
She served as a member at large with the Bolinas Museum in 2007-2008 and returned in 2016 after her busy work life wound down. She greatly enjoys being a student of botanical illustration and she finds much gratification helping the Bolinas Museum and the thriving creative community. Vera serves on the Development Committee.
