BOORAY

It's a Cajun name. I know you've probably never met anyone named "Booray" before but it's a real name. If you were in Louisiana and told someone you were named, "Booray," they wouldn't blink. It's not like there's a "Booray" on every corner but there's enough of them... When I started Booray Perry Photography, I planned to be a portrait photographer. That lasted right up until I shot my first wedding and I was hooked. Now I photograph about 80 brides a year and I love it. I still do portraits, headshots, birthday parties and basically anything that comes my way. One of the great things about being a wedding photographer is that you have to be able to do everything from portraits to photo-journalism, families and kids….bright sun and dark churches. There's no other facet of photography that prepares you to do it all like wedding photography...
