BOYDDESIGN - Key Persons
Brendon founded BoydDesign Inc in 2009 after a number of years freelancing in NYC. Coming from a theatrical background, his first show was in high school with a 2 scene preset lighting board- a show which he had to miss due to his appendix nearly bursting! But that miss turned into a passion of lighting shows. Fast forward 22 years Brendon is still doing productions ranging from corporate events to large format theatrical exhibitions to 8000 person concerts in the park. When not working, Brendon enjoys camping in our beautiful national parks as well as finding some ‘twisties' on his motorcycle.
Cindy joined the BoydDesign team back in 2015 and works in the shadows making sure bills are served and paid! Cindy's past accounting experience from restaurants and bakeries brings unique perspective to her field. In her spare time Cindy can be found (or not found) in a cabin deep in the forest of Maine reconnecting to nature.
Cole has been working with Boyd Design since joining the team for the Mile Long Opera in 2018. With over 12 years of experience in concert and event production, Cole has worked on everything from bar bands to multi-day national music festivals. Cole has worked as a Production Manager, Site Manager, Audio Engineer, and more. In his free time, Cole enjoys mountain biking, snowboarding, and hanging with his family.
Melissa helps the BoydDesign team by serving as social media sorceress and travel agent. In her other life she is a neuroscientist and editor. When not working Melissa can be found traveling to all ends of the world and taking lots of photographs along the way.
Mike has been part of the BoydDesign team off and on for nearly a decade. Starting as a Production Coordinator for the Celebrate Brooklyn! summer concert series in 2010, Mike has been stage manager, tech director, production manager and everything in between! When not on a plane or train, Mike enjoys playing guitar and hanging with his daughter.
