Cutting Edge Planning and Training Inc was established in 2010. Mathew Marshall took his first hazardous materials class in 2004 and was hooked on learning more and eventually teaching on the subject in 2009. He knew immediately he wanted to continue to educate on this subject. Along with his family's support and finding the best of the best people to work with, Cutting Edge Planning and Training Inc was founded. We pride ourselves on having the greatest instructors out there!

Instructor Rouah has a background in the Hazardous Materials field for over 10 years and currently serves on the HazMat Response Team for the Cape Coral Fire Department. Instructor Rouah is a State of Florida Hazardous Materials Technician and has spent countless hours enhancing his knowledge by attending classes, conferences, symposiums and other events to continue his education. Instructor Rouah has taught numerous different courses throughout the State of Florida including preparing and delivering different presentations at different events. Instructor Rouah has certificates and special training in Advanced Monitoring, HazMat Street Chemistry, U.S. DOE CTOS courses (Radiological/Nuclear, WMD), as well as CPR Instructor, Fire Officer 1, Apparatus/Hydraulics Pump and Aerial Operations.
Lieutenant Klein has 16 years in the fire service and currently serves for the Cape Coral Fire Department. Lieutenant Klein has extensive knowledge in hazardous materials and is currently a State of Florida certified Hazardous Materials Technician for CCFD as well as a certified Paramedic and Boat Operator. Lieutenant Klein is also a certified Rescue Diver.
Lieutenant Kofsky currently serves for the Naples Fire Department. He has worked for NFD for the past 19 years. Lieutenant Kofsky has a passion for furthering his training and education, especially when it comes to HazMat. In addition to being a HazMat Tech Officer for his department, Lieutenant Kofsky is also a Live Fire Instructor, Instructor 2, Fire Officer 2, Inspector 2, State Safety Officer, and ARFF. He also enjoys being a part of Nascar events serving as a Nascar Fire Fighter in Daytona Beach.
Battalion Chief Marshall has been in the fire service for over 20 years, most of which has been of service for the Cape Coral Fire Department - where he currently serves. Chief Marshall is very knowledgeable when it comes to Hazardous Materials and is committed to constantly furthering his education as well as others on the subject. After teaching for other companies, Chief Marshall wanted to be a larger influencer for HazMat education and hence developed a great quality education program in the industry with second to none, instructors equally as passionate about HazMat. Cutting Edge Planning and Training, Inc. was established in 2010. Chief Marshall is also a certified Paramedic, Fire Officer 2, Live Fire Instructor, Fire Service Instructor, and Task Force Leader. Chief Marshall is also the only certified trainer for E-Plan, an online copyrighted software database for hazardous materials developed and maintained by the University of Texas-Dallas.
