Dr. Brian Dunlap

Dr. Brian Dunlap grew up in Wilmington, Ohio, and moved to Dayton where he graduated from Beavercreek High School. Dr. Dunlap completed his Bachelor of Science degree in Zoology at the Ohio State University. He is a 1989 graduate of the Ohio State University where he received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery. He came to Coshocton in 1990, looking for a nice small town practice like the one he grew up with. Dr. Dunlap emphasizes continuing education as a major part of his practice. He has completed multiple fellowships and continuums of post-doctorate continuing education focusing mostly on implant dentistry, oral surgery, orthodontics, reconstructive cosmetics and digital dentistry. Patient education is also a foundation for Dr. Dunlap's practice, allowing him to help patients understand the choices they have and the value of maintaining their oral health. PROFESSIONAL AFFILIATIONS A member of organized dentistry, Dr. Dunlap is a credentialed fellow in the Academy of General Dentistry, a credentialed associate fellow in the American Academy of Implant Dentistry, Fellow of Midwest Implant Institute, and serves in his local dental society in several roles including past president. He is a member of the Muskingum Valley Dental Society, Ohio Dental Society, and the American Dental Association. Dr. Dunlap met and married his wife Ann, an anesthetist, here in Coshocton. They have three sons Lucas, Andrew, and Stuart. Dr. Dunlap spends a lot of time tinkering outdoors on his farm. He also loves to play golf, racquetball, and soccer. His love of soccer led him to coach his sons in competitive soccer throughout high school, and he is still involved in travel soccer in the community. He has been a member of the Coshocton Rotary Club for more than 20 years and served on many local boards including Clinic Director of the Childrens Dental Clinic and Muskingum Valley Health Centers. Dr. Dunlap has a special place for the seniors in his practice. He helped establish the 80/20 club to honor those patients 80 years old with 20 or more of their own natural teeth. He and his staff host an annual celebration in their honor.
