Having over 7 years of Nonprofit experience and wanting to give back to the community has led her to a position as Assistant Controller at Habitat for Humanity of Washington, D.C. and Northern Virginia. Emma grew up on the Eastern Shore of Virginia and graduated from Virginia Tech. She served as a Habitat Americorps member in Iowa and Maryland before being hired at DC Habitat in 2019. She is a Certified Aging in Place specialist through the National Association of Home Builders. In her current role, she works with DACL's Safe at Home program to complete accessibility repairs and modifications for seniors and disabled adults throughout DC. She also assists with Habitat DC-NOVA's partnership with TruBlue to provide repairs to seniors in Northern Virginia. Emma especially loves Habitat DC-NOVA's repair programs and the unique impact they have on the community. She also appreciates the sustainability component of home repair and enjoys helping residents live in their homes for as long as possible.

Prior to joining AWS in 2020, he was Vice President and Sector CTO at Northrop Grumman. He has held technology leadership, P&L, and program management roles over his 30-year career, including Executive Vice President and Corporate CTO of Leidos, Senior Vice President and CTO of the National Security Sector at SAIC, and Director of Northrop Grumman's Science and Technology Operating Unit. He holds a Bachelor of Science in aerospace engineering from the University of Virginia, a Master of Science in operations research, and a Doctor of Science in systems engineering from The George Washington University. He has published more than a dozen technical papers in various fields, including systems engineering, modeling and simulation, and aerospace systems. He has taught three dozen semester-length engineering courses as a professorial lecturer in The George Washington University's School of Engineering and Applied Science to masters and doctoral students. He is a current member of the Armed Forces Communications and Electronics Association (AFCEA) Technology Committee and served on the Intelligence and National Security Alliance's cloud computing task force. Kelly Renaud

Kelly first joined our affiliate in 2014 as a Construction Crew Leader Americorps Volunteer. Upon completion of her service term, she became a full-time staff member and continues to build and renovate homes all over Northern Virginia. She came to us with a background in construction project management and attended Virginia Tech. Kelly is the QI for our Virginia Class A RBC Contractor's license. Kelly is responsible for all aspects of construction activities on the Virginia side of our affiliate handling pre-construction planning, permitting, subcontractors, inspections, materials, budgets, and schedules. In addition, she works closely with our dedicated core volunteers to ensure a safe and productive experience for all volunteers on our construction sites. She is passionate about building homes that will be sustainable for our families for years to come, using low maintenance materials and energy-efficient products to help ensure long-term affordability.

Liz Salter started with Habitat NOVA in 2015. She is responsible for managing Habitat DC-NOVA's social media and communication efforts and engaging and stewarding individual donors. Liz believes that everyone can play a part in making the DC metro area a more equitable and inclusive place to live and is thrilled that she can connect with people to help achieve our mission. Previously to becoming the Director of Donor Relations & Communications, she managed volunteers at Habitat DC-NOVA. She loved getting to know our wonderful volunteers and finding another touch point for people to get involved. As an AmeriCorps VISTA member, she started her career in nonprofits and worked on the team that started the first choice-model food pantry in Philadelphia. Before coming to Habitat DC-NOVA, Liz worked with volunteers and managed in-kind donations at the Carpenter's Shelter in Alexandria. Liz has a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and Religious Studies from Albright College in Reading, PA, and a Certification in Volunteer Administration (CVA).

Madi Ford

Madi has executed over $250M in debt financing including HUD, agency, and conventional market loans as well as structuring 1031 and opportunity zone equity for development deals. Madi has secured multiple successful PUD and BZA approvals for development projects totaling over $1B in development potential. She has also successfully managed complex litigation related to a class-action suit which allowed a $700M development to proceed. In addition to her transactional experience, Madi has expertise in corporate governance and strategic operations. Prior to founding Audeo Partners, Madi served as the Senior Vice President and General Counsel at MidCity Development, Director of Legal Affairs at Vantage Management and as a Corporate Associate at Bingham McCutchen L.P. Madi prides herself on advocating for empowerment of women in business and has participated in panels and speaking engagements related to working in family business as well as mentoring young women in real estate, diversity in the workplace, and the value of inclusiveness.
