Denise's interest in specific learning differences coincided with her own experience as a parent of children with dyslexia and dyspraxia. Following a career in academia and statistical consulting Denise began training in 2004; she established her own practice in 2008 working in many schools across the whole sector providing specialist support to pupils and consultancy support to schools on special needs provision. She became an associate specialist consultant teacher with the ‘Ed Psych Practice',
