DESIS-UK

We are seeking to recruit a post-doctoral researcher to develop and locate their research and practice within the research aims and remit of the College. The research fellow will develop research projects and contribute to external grant applications, in collaboration with other College researchers, in order to sustain their research beyond the life of the fixed term appointment. We are interested in applicants whose research interests are in the broad area of design practice or theory, engaging in one or more of the following fields: communication design, fashion or textile design, spatial design, product or industrial design. We are particularly interested in candidates whose research develops design in relation to areas of social innovation and resilience, building on wide-ranging work already initiated through our DESIS (Design for Sustainability and Social Innovation) hub.
