ELMHURST GROUP - Key Persons
Brian Miller joined the Elmhurst team in July of 2016. As Director of Development, he manages the ongoing construction efforts for the company's properties, as well as new developments within the organization.
Before Elmhurst, Brian worked as Senior Project Manager for Jendoco Construction Corporation. During his time there, he managed the Scott Hall Nanofabrication and Research Facility at Carnegie Mellon University. He was also responsible for managing the company's operations throughout its field of personnel.
Brian also spent eleven years as Project Manager for Massaro Corporation, where he completed projects for Penn State University, West Virginia University, UPMC and several well-known buildings on Pittsburgh's North Shore.
Brian is a graduate of Penn State University with a bachelor's degree in Construction Management.

In the fall of 2015, Eric Schindler joined Elmhurst as its Director of Leasing. In this position, Eric manages Elmhurst's real estate portfolio, overseeing lease negotiations, marketing initiatives, and all broker and tenant relationships, in addition to interacting daily with the accounting and construction departments.
Eric most recently acted as the Director of Marketing and Leasing for Mosites Development Company, where for six years he worked to develop and maintain a high level of occupancy and customer satisfaction for a diverse retail and office portfolio.
Prior to his time at Mosites, Eric spent twelve years with JJ Gumberg Co, initially as their credit manager before eventually joining their real estate department as a leasing manager. He currently maintains a Pennsylvania license in real estate, is a current member of NAIOP, a past member of ICSC and holds a bachelor's degree in Business Administration from La Roche College.
Eric is a board member of the Pittsburgh chapter of BOMA.

In January of 2022, Marc Battistone joined Elmhurst as its new Director of Property Management. In this position, Marc oversees Elmhurst's real estate portfolio, managing the operations of over three million square feet of office, distribution, and flex space.
Marc most recently acted as the Senior Property Manager for the Davis Companies, where for the last seven years he managed the Union Trust Building, overseeing the operations of the historic office building throughout an 18-month renovation that resulted in a LEED Silver certification.
Prior to his time at the Davis Companies, Marc was the Northeast Director of Operations for Healthcare Trust of America, Asset Manager at Massaro Properties, LLC, and Property Manager for Allen and Rocks, Inc. in Fairfax, VA. Marc is currently a Certified Property Manager and holds a Pennsylvania Real Estate Salesperson License. He is also closely involved with IREM Western PA Chapter 7, BOMA Pittsburgh, and Pittsburgh 2030

Maria began her career at KPMG's Pittsburgh office, where she earned her CPA certification. She stayed there for four years before joining the Elmhurst team as Assistant Controller.
Over time she became Controller and more recently Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer. Maria has been with Elmhurst for over twenty-five years.
Maria is a graduate of Duquesne University, with a bachelor's degree in Accounting. She is a member of CREW Pittsburgh (Commercial Real Estate Women).
Bill Hunt is President and CEO of Elmhurst Group, having been with the company since 1984.
In 2004, Bill was a finalist for Ernst & Young's Entrepreneur of the Year award. For the past twenty-five years, he has also been an active member of NAIOP, the 16,000-member trade organization for the US real estate industry; he served as National Chair in 2012 and was inducted into the Hall of Fame for the Pittsburgh Chapter in 2013.
Bill graduated from Duke University in 1984 with a degree in Political Science.
