Howard Van Dyk, Jr., is a graduate of Montclair State University and attended Western Conservative Baptist Seminary. His ministry began in 1989 as the Director of Family Ministries at Hawthorne Gospel Church. In 1996, he took on the responsibilities of Associate Pastor at Hawthorne. In 2020, he began his ministry as the Campus Pastor of First Baptist Church, Hackensack, NJ.

Growing up in First Baptist Church, Mrs. Horn had the privilege, as a teenager, of watching the inception of Bergen County Christian Academy. She graduated from BCCA in 1983 and went on to The King's College in New York. She graduated with a degree in elementary education. She also has her state certification in pre-school and elementary teaching.
After getting her education, Mrs. Horn came back to BCCA to teach 3rd grade and then 1st grade. She became the elementary supervisor in 2010 and then the elementary principal the following year. God led her to take the position of Academy Principal when the vacancy arose, where she has been serving since 2013. Mrs. Horn is married to Philip, who she met at BCCA. They serve together at First Baptist Church in Hackensack where Philip is part of the pastoral team. We have three grown children, Mark (who is married to Elizabeth), Erik, and Krista.
