Charles Cockerton is our co-founder and Director of Florin Pensions. He brings over a decade of experience working closely with clients in the US to help them with their UK pension transfers and ongoing UK pensions' needs. Prior to Florin Pensions, after obtaining an undergraduate degree in geography and post graduate degree in law, Charles began his career working in executive search and then business development positions for a quantitative investment manager and international financial advisory group. Charles serves on the investment committee of the British Benevolent Society of California, after recently stepping down as President of the charity. He lives in the Bay Area, CA with his co-founder wife and two children. Outside of the office, Charles enjoys sports and exploring the great outdoors of the West Coast with his family.
Emma Cockerton is our co-founder and CEO of Florin Pensions. In addition to advising her clients on their UK pensions and investments, she has been overseeing the overall operations of Florin Pensions since 2012. Prior to Florin Pensions, Emma worked in London as an Executive Director at GE Capital EMEA and started her career as a UK lawyer with international law firm Ashurst LLP. Emma is on the board of the British American Business Council, San Francisco and, in support her daughters' love of singing, the Marin Girls Chorus. She lives in the Bay Area, CA with her co-founder husband and two children.

John Tunstall is Senior Wealth Manager at Florin Pensions for the East Coast and has been advising British expatriates regarding their financial matters for more than 25 years. John lives in the Tampa Bay, FL, but originally comes from Derbyshire, England. He is the Northeast regional representative of British American Business, and a long term member and advocate of St Georges Society New York. In his spare time John enjoys spending time with his family, whether at the beach or in the hills. He also enjoys riding motorcycles and following a wide variety of sports, including motorsports and football ("soccer"). He is a long-suffering fan of Derby County FC.
Kelci Laam joined our Florin Pensions' team in 2020 as our Administration Manager. She oversees all client and office administration thus enabling our advisors to support their clients. Originally from Marin, CA she currently resides in southwest WA with her husband and two dogs. For fun, Kelci enjoys exploring the PNW wilderness or curling up by the fireplace with a good mystery novel.
