I knew early on that I wanted to be a doctor…a surgeon at that. I feel very fortunate to be in a profession that I love. I am very passionate about plastic surgery... Dr. Sian was born and raised in Manila, Philippines. He obtained his undergraduate education at the University of the Philippines Diliman Campus and graduated magna cum laude in BS Biology. He received his medical degree from the University of the Philippines College of Medicine and graduated in the top 1/5th of his class. He was the president of his medical school fraternity which was actively engaged in civic, social and academic activities. He took the Philippine licensure exam in 1990 and placed 13 th out of 2600 examinees... After graduating from medical school, Dr. Sian came to the United States in 1991 for his general surgery training.
