Aaron Chavis has over 20 years' experience in the nonprofit sector as an Executive Director and Chief Operating Officer to some of the leading organizations in Central New Jersey. He currently serves as the Director of Operations for the Family Practice and Counseling Network (FPCN) located in Philadelphia, PA.
He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Rowan University where he studied Law and Justice Studies, African American Studies, and Sociology. He earned his Masters of Public Administration degree from The Florida State University with expertise in Strategic Human Resource Development, Strategy and Leadership.
He is a certified Executive and Health Leadership Coach with the Center for Executive Coaching, Certified Relationship Coach with the Relationship Coaching Institute and an Emotional Intelligence Certified Practitioner with Genos International. Aaron is also a trained Interim Executive Director with the Support Center of New York.
Aaron has taught Sociology and Leadership Development for the past 20 years at Mercer County Community College, Rowan College of Burlington County, Rowan University, Rider University, The College of New Jersey and Drexel University.
He is a volunteer executive for EthicalCoach, an international nonprofit organization that delivers resources and tools to build capacity within NGOs, enabling them to increase their impact and serve more families and children in need all over the world.
He is the father of two charming young men Gabriel and Israel. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with family and friends. He also loves to travel and jet ski!

Althea is responsible for creating and sustaining a corporate culture of compliance with requirements of major regulatory and funding bodies, including HIPPA, HRSA, CBH CLIA, Access Matters, Dept. of Health, ACOA, and other major funding and/or regulatory agencies. She ensures that the corporation's internal controls are capable of preventing and detecting significant instances or patterns of illegal, unethical, or improper conduct. She also directs the review of all incident reports, and recommends trainings and action plans when necessary. Prior to becoming the Compliance and Regulatory Manager, Althea worked in the Human Resources field and was responsible for employee recruitment and retention, staff development, mediation, conflict resolution, benefits and compensation, Human Resources records management, policies development and Human Resources and Regulatory Compliance. Donna L. Torrisi graduated from Villanova University with a B.S.N. in 1972. She received her M.S.N. in 1976 from the University of Pennsylvania as a Family Nurse Practitioner. In 1991 she co-wrote and then received a Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) grant to provide health care to residents of public housing. Today that program has grown to five sites serving over 18,000 patients with a budget of over 16 million dollars. The sites have been recipients of multiple awards including the HRSA National Models that Work Award and the Smith Kline Beecham Community Impact Award. Ms. Torrisi received the Villanova University Leadership in Nursing award, the University of Pennsylvania Lillian Brunner Sholstis award for Excellence in Nursing Practice, the Pennsylvania Nurses Association Leadership award for Innovative Practice, and the National Alliance for Resident Services in Affordable and Assisted Housing, Practitioner of the Year Award. Donna was a key leader in the state of Pennsylvania in an effort that culminated in legislative change redefining primary care provider to include nurse practitioners. She has published and lectured on the nurse- managed model and on integrating behavioral health into primary care. She is a founding member and the first chairperson of the National Nursing Centers Consortium. She also co-wrote the book "Community and Nurse Managed Health Centers, Getting them Started and Keeping them Going," published in May 2005. Donna is a 2005 graduate of the Robert Wood Johnson Executive Nurse Fellowship Program. She was recently designated an Edge Runner with the American Academy of Nursing and in 2012 was inducted as a Fellow into the American Academy of Nursing. Emily Nichols' career has focused on Philadelphia-based federally qualified health centers in a variety of roles centering on patient care, health outcomes, quality improvement and patient-centered medical home recognition. She holds a BA in Public Health - Social and Behavioral Sciences from Johns Hopkins University and a MPH from Emory University with a concentration in Behavioral Sciences. In 2010, Emily became the Center Director of The Health Annex, FPCN's health center in Southwest Philadelphia. In February 2013, Emily transitioned to the Director of Operations for FPCN, where she continued to work diligently to enhance quality of care and improve systems across the network. In July 2019 Emily assumed the role of Executive Director for the Network. She is excited to uphold the mission and principles of FPCN while always seeking ways to improve both FPCN client and staff experience, as well as be a leader in nurse-managed health centers.
Emmanuel graduated from Millersville University with an MSN in Family Practice. He is fluent in several languages including French. His nursing experience includes in Med Surge, rehabilitation nursing as well as long term care.
