Darcy Schlichting is a registered nurse and master's prepared historian. She and her family have owned property in the town of Winter Park for more than twenty years, and are thrilled to now be here full-time. Darcy spent the majority of her career as a research nurse, mostly at the University of Colorado. She is a published writer of Colorado history and a regular volunteer in the community. Darcy is an avid outdoor enthusiast, and enjoys skiing, snowshoeing, bicycling, running and hiking.

Sally Leclair graduated from the University of Maine, where she met her husband, Art. She raised a son and daughter on the coast of Penobscot Bay, in beautiful Belfast, Maine. After a career in elementary education as a teacher and principal, retirement brought Sally to Grand County. She has lived in the Fraser Valley permanently since 2015.
